For those of the Washington board that go back a few years, I bring sad news that Smarty1101 passed away yesterday. He was recovering from a lengthy illness and recent surgery, and we were all optimistic when he began to post on the Vegas board recently. Unfortunately, he lost the good battle.

Smarty was a regular visitor to DC until his career changed in 2007. He was an active member on this and several boards, but Las Vegas was his home.

Rest in peace, sir. I doubt it'll happen, but if you see the devil, tell him to "piss up a rope".

Never met him but read his always on point notes for a long time.
He was one of the good guys and will be missed.
