The GPS on my phone lets me navigate DC (finally!) without getting lost. Years ago, the real test of a DC native was the ability to use shortcuts like Rock Creek Parkway and handle the one way lanes that change during the day and get all the exits right. BTW, I use Apple Maps, which is now very good.

And the best special-purpose app ever made: Parkmobile. Park with your cell phone! When the meter time is up, you get a text warning and you can add more time. Indispensable.

So, to answer the question, I like Crystal City because it is so easy, and with the apps listed above DC is a close second since I only go there in the middle of the day when traffic is lightest. Tysons is possible, but can be such a pain with construction/traffic.

Are you particular as to where you will go in the area to see a provider? Just curious because I am. Living in Northern Va, the Manassas area, I won't go into D.C. I worked in D.C. years ago for many years and have no desire to go back unless I have to. If I see a ladies ad stating Dupont Circle for instance, I move on as I don't even want to be tempted. I have driven to Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons, Gaithersburg and even BWI to see some ladies but have always avoided D.C.
Am I alone and do you providers think certain locations are a plus for business??

I usually stay in Northern Virginia (Crystal City or Alexandria) for the most part.

I occasionally have hosted a few days in Dulles, Tysons and Dupont.

From my experience Crystal City is definitely the best and seems to draw the least amount of complaints.  Guys from DC are more likely to come to VA then guys from VA are to go into DC.

Just my experience...

No matter where you are, it is easy to get to Crystal City hotels in Arlington.  And the metro runs right through there, allowing you to cross from DC in a matter of just a couple of minutes.  Plus, you get the airport crowd coming to, arriving from, or staying near the Reagan airport.  And the guys themselves are more fit right next to the Pentagon and in uniform to boot!

I work in two locations... Woodbridge for NOVA people.. and Laurel for the MD people.

I dont go any other place unless it is outcall.

I work just outside of Tyson's, but travel into DC by Metro or car on occasion. My ATF is in DC and not in a particularly convenient area. But to me, she is worth going out of my way to see. If two ladies are touring in the area, and I can't decide which one to see, the lady in Tyson's gets the first call. My "won't go there" area is Maryland. Way too many complicating factors involved when crossing the Potomac Ocean.

Won't go into DC.  Double the price of your visit WHEN you get hit by a speed/red light camera and then another $25 for the parking ticket you'll inevitably receive.  If you're not a regular commuter or the location is outside of your normal routine, you're likely to get snagged by a speed camera.  Then throw on top of that trying to find parking at DuPont Circle, forget about it.

That is where I stay 95% of the time, and would prefer outcall to my hotel room. Can and have traveled to ladies incalls in DC and NOVA. Traffic in Tysons makes it just too hard for weekdays, when I am in DC. And MD is just too far, unless the lady travels to me.

Yes, park mobile is great and you can re-up your time w/o being there...but be cautious.  I was nailed by a sign that noted, "Multiple hour parking allowed after 6:00p.m.)  Most normal people would read that as I can park for multiple hours w/o paying.  Nope, it means you have to PAY for multiple hours.  Even though the sign also says two hour maximum parking until 6:00 p.m.

Love DC....bastards.

I prefer NOVA, but there are just too many providers at DC and not enough at NOVA. I'd lose out on most of my preferred selections if I didn't go to DC.

And you'd drive to BWI yet refuse to go to DC? I'd think it would take much longer to go to BWI, not to mention the traffic and (seemingly) higher rate of LE activity.  Sure DC has crappy road layouts but with GPS getting as good nowadays, you really can't get lost there.

I love my location in DC. I think it's perfect for everyone... However for those who are weary of the city, I travel to Northern Virginia and northern Maryland... For multiple hour appointments I've ventured as far as Olney or Winchester. And to be frank about the city - I've had a client come see me in Southeast!

I prefer Tysons/Falls Chruch but I'll go to Crystal City, DuPont, even  BWI/Columbia MD if the provider is worth it.  What I absolutely must do is avoid rush-hour (or in our case, rush 3 hours) between about 3:30 and 6pm.  It can be hard to get north across the Potomac Ocean if a session ends past 3.

I love DC but I generally avoid it for my dates b/c I usually do lunch dates during the week and the thought of driving into DC from MoCo during the day and trying to find parking does not really interest me. Metro could be an option but there could also be a decent walk from the Dupont station depending on where the hotel is (and there's also the issue of trying to find parking at the Metro station, which can sometimes get crowded).

Tysons Corner is perfectly convenient for me as I can park easily, get in and out from 270/495 in about 35 minutes, and there are lots of nice hotels in Tysons to choose from. Crystal City is more of a drive for me and the GW Parkway can sometimes be dicey.

I wish there were more quality providers in Rockville/Gaithersburg but for now Tysons works just fine for me. Not to say that I won't ever do Dupont but it's going to have to be a seriously good provider to get me down there during the day.

Are my preference, even though DC and MD are more convenient...it makes it less likely to run into people I know...

, you're not alone.  The distance to Dupont/DC isn't the problem, the deal breaker is finding parking!!!  I would never say never to going down there, but the lady would have to be REALLY special.
