Why cheap hotels when some of us have lovely homes, safe and clean.  My neighbors know I do consulting from home so a man or woman with a brief case fits right in. :) K~

I really want to meet with a provider who only offers outcall, but that is not a possibility with my living situation.

Say I wanted to rent a hotel for a few hours in or near College Park.  Any ideas what places might be my best bet?

I don't know of any place that you could get by the hour but, I'm a fan of Hotwire and Travelocity's Top Secret deals when searching for hotels.

bed bugs are a national epidemic, once i had to check out after only less than an hour, because i saw one. now to this day, the first thing i do, when i arrive, is check the flip side of a mattress to see if they are hiding there waiting for me to fall to sleep. Because, if you take those things home, (an i have been lucky not to take them home ever) it will cost you THOUSANDS to get rid of them IF you can get rid of them.

and don't be foolish boys and think they are only in cheep hotels, i only stay at 3 and 4star, all over the U.S. and yet still have seen some the best hotels listed there on bedbug report. as a matter of fact 2 days ago NikeTown, in NY City had to close there door indefinably because of an outbreak of bedbugs (and they are not even a hotel) .

The only good news is, one room in a hotel can have bedbugs and the other side of the hotel may not, so there is some luck involved. The hotel chains are just starting to take this serious and attempt to get a handle on this issue. First site reported eradicate the room and the rooms next to it at once!!

In a similar situation, I used the EconLodge in College Park - just inside the beltway.  It is adequate and not expenses.  If you think this might be a regular thing, they also have a membership plan where you get every thrid nigh free.

Unless it's the Travel Ldge or something the hotels in silver spring aren't the cheapest... I stay away from College Park so can't help you there.
