...a month for the few gentlemen who live/work in the area, and find it difficult to come into the district. I rarely advertise, as I have a handful of gentlemen I e-mail in advance, and they schedule a date immediately.
I am located downtown DC, a few blocks from three Metro lines, and gargage parking within the block. Gentlemen love my discreet, downtown location. Hugs and Kisses,Kelly
I hate it when a provider says she's coming to DC, so you book an appt but when she gets in town you find out she's actually in Bumblefuck Tyson's Corner.
Why do so many providers stay out there? Is it simply hotels are cheaper? I don't know anyone who lives or works there, for anyone living/working in DC it's a pain in the ass to get there. Pretty much impossible for me to sneak out of work for a lunch tryst...that would take 3 hrs if I had to go to Tyson's. What am I missing, are there really that many clients who love going to Tyson's?
So ladies...please be aware that Tyson's isn't DC, if you are coming to Tyson's, pls say so, so that we can plan accordingly.
Thank you for listening to this public service announcement, and now we will return to regular broadcasting.
I agree that Tyson's really isn't DC and it's probably a let down when you are psyched that someone is coming to "DC" and then find out that she's really going to be staying in Tyson's (or even worse) Dulles!
From what I've found, the hotels really aren't that much cheaper in Tysons to make someone use that as a determining factor but there are a quite of few people that like/request the area.
Maybe when the metro is finished being built out there it won't be so bad?
Unfortunately for you, there are large amount of hobbists, or those willing to travel to the location. That's why there are tons of traffic during the commute hours. The hotel is probably cheaper, and parking is widely available and free. Both Tysons and DC are relatively close to me, but many would have to choose one or the other, but that doesn't mean the other location sucks and providers should only stay in my area. But I do see a number of provideds are splitting their stay in both locations. Perhaps one day NOVA section will break out of DC board, but still majority of providers are staying at DC for now.

for touring providers to think about. There is DC(mostly DuPont Circle but also Foggy Bottom and Georgetown) Tysons Corner, Dulles, Crystal City, BWI and those are just the primary ones.
Each has its own universe of potential clients that have a tough time getting to one of the others.
By choosing just one she is limiting her potential and the reason many spend time in 2 or 3 venues.
Nothing worst than seeing "In DC!!!" in an ad then she says staying in Tysons. I visit ladies in the Dupont area or just host an outcall. Paying an extra $100 for the outcall is worth it to avoid that traffic.
Tysons Corner is all of it, its where the money makers and booty shakers meet.
I love all you sexy ladies, please don't judge me, I will get 100yrs

...go see her. Don't forget that while locals draw distinctions among all the various venues, to someone from another part of the country, it's all DC -- as in metropolitan area. Schedule your apointments to miss the traffic, or just sit and wait for some table scraps to fall your way. I would expect that Tyson's is much preferred by many more hobbyists than downtown DC. Just my guess.
Getting downtown is a bitch. Traffic often sucks. Or I have to find a parking lot and pay too much for parking, drive around for an extended period looking for a spot and risk being late, or take extra time going to the metro station, hopping trains, and that bull shit.
I much prefer driving to Tysons and parking in the hotel lot.
Stop being so damn greedy. They come to NVA because it's home to some of the richest counties in the country and there plenty of hobbyists.
If it bothers you that much you can petition TER for an NVA board.
And for the record, the trip really isn't that bad anymore. I do on occasion make the trip into DC and deal with the traffic and parking but you don't hear me sniveling about it.
Happiness comes from enjoying what you have not wishing for what you don't.
..... is a pain to get around but I like the area, clients, the shopping lol.
I'll do incall all around NoVa but I have top 2 preference for Crystal City and/or Tysons Corner.
I for one am available in Tyson's Corner on a regular basis and every now and then in Dc. Tons of people live in the area or near the area, so it is actually very convenient for many. There is a reason why it is overloaded with providers. Because it is a great area.

I live in Maryland in a very good location, but when I hobby I love to go to Tyson's. Easy access from the Beltway (directly or indirectly from the Dulles toll road") and plenty of free parking (except for one hotel which inexplicably charge for parking). Also plenty of nice restaurants in case she wants to get something to eat with me.
As for providers, probably for the same reasons and for people like me.
A lot of ladies visit DC during the week, then move to Tyson's Corner on the weekends as it's a military area.

What Tysons does have is corporate HQ, the CIA and other intelligence agencies not far away, and huge amounts of beltway bandits, that is, contracting consultants to the Government. Northrop, Lockheed, Raytheon, SAIC, Booz Allen, Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, etc etc.
There is as much office space at Tysons as there is in downtown Houston, TX. You can look it up.
And some of the highest per capita incomes in the country for the residential areas (Arlington, Falls Church, McLean, Reston, Vienna).
Especially in the AM and from 3 to 7, auto travel to DC and parking is simply brutal. Tysons and the satellite areas (Dulles, Chantilly, Fairfax City) is a welcome alternative to downtown DC.
One issue I've had is that a provide will note a Dupont Location or downtown, but that's based on info from Hotels.com or something, and the actual location is Capitol Hill or Georgetown. It makes a difference on a tight schedule, sometimes 30 minutes for an extra three miles. I know it's not intentional, but you gotta plan for that sort of thing. Same with Tysons and traffic. It can take 25 minutes to go two miles on either of the main roads through Tysons (Rt 123 and Rt 7).
Plan accordingly and have fun
no boutiques, all big box brands adn too many extended stays
I train in to DC when I visit, so Tysons would be a long and pricey cab ride
Because of its location near I-495 and the toll road, Tysons Corner is convenient for folks in Reston, Fairfax, Vienna, McLean, Bethesda, Potomac, etc.
Even though I my apartment in Arlington is less than 4 miles from the Washington Monument, it's a major pain in the ass for me to go in to DC because of traffic, parking, road closures, speed cameras, Metro unreliability.
I much prefer Crystal City or Tysons Corner.
A rats nest of roads with horrible signage. Parking in DC has never been a problem for me. Not to mention there is the Metro.
