Does anyone, provider or hobbiest, have any recommendations, hints or advice for me.  I'm not sure what to expect, what to do to not look like a fool, and not get ripped off or worse.  Thanks in advance.

lots of us can give you some guidance. If you are a TER member send me a private note using the mail system to rick2 with whatever questions you've got and I'll be happy to help. Most important. on your first time, see a veteran provider who has solid reviews, in DC someone like summer breeze. And when you call her up the first time, just tell her that you are new at this. The other super important thing is to NEVER talk about sex in any way or form. That's why its especially important to select a provider that has great reviews. Then you can know what you can expect, without having to ask questions. If you ask a provider these questions, they will simply refuse to see you because they may think you are law enforcement.

There are a couple sites which will provide very helpful constructive information. Thefoxfiles.com for one and TER for another. I learned a great deal from these sites before I ever started (not that Im any expert as I just started in May) I agree completely with the previous post. Choose an experienced provider with good consistent reviews that you are attracted to. Be sure to talk with her when setting up a meeting to see if there is chemistry. Treat her like you would a girl who you really like and respect and she will respond accoringly. My biggest and most plesant surprize has been the high quality of some girls who are providers. Some, you will learn, are truly nice people, often very intelligent, who care about their clents and have very high moral and ethical standards. Good luck to you!
