Today, I was watching Fox 5 and thy had a segment on Stings in PG County, I couldn't help but laugh when they showed a Hobbiest crying and pleading for the LE not to arrest him, if you are dumb enough to continue to do hobbying in MD anywhere, you deservee to be busted!!!
I avoid MD like the plague and I advice other hobbiest to do the same!!!!

So when I see these reports on NEWS CHANNELS, I almost ignore them, since they don't apply to me. I take all the necessary precautions. They only tell you the headlines, and the devil is always in the details.
It is dumb to completely discount the situation, but at the same time there are smart ways to find entertainment.
I am not ignoring it as a pulse of what's going on in the neighborhood. If someone would ask me a recommendation in MoCo, MD, I would tell them to get the hell out of there. Last time I hobbied in MoCo was in Sept of 2009.

The aftermath of his bust could get even worse. A lot of "hobbyists" who get busted in these stings are not informed as we and are casual hobbyists.
Once the cops have you in custody, crying and pleading is not going to work, my only words are " I Want A Lawyer" no further comments will be heard from me......

I have seen a close friend get arrested for DUI. I told him that I will drive him since I never drink, but he insisted he was OK. He was devastated. And this guy could trash talk and cuss like a sailor. He was in tears.

..provider you are relatively safe. The key word here is relatively. Columbia is in Howard County, MD, and every county is different. Perhaps you might want to post on MD Regional board to understand the pulse of the region in question.

They are trying to send a message that if you are busted they will out your name to the public. PG county use to keep things quiet. I see there some very stupid ladies still posting ads for College Park. I have a feeling these type of busts will continue in the future. Prediction 3 to 4 a year.
I read story on wrc 4. Said men were "lured" [their word] to College Park hotels and busted by undercover policewomen.
PG county along with Montgomery county have the largest police forces in the state of Maryland. We don't see operations like this in Anne Arundel county because they don't have the resources to do it. They use a lot of cops because they are afraid someone might try to fight back with a gun like they do in Oakland California (target vice cops).
PG county has been doing this stuff for years. This is the first time I can remember where they have started outing people. They are trying to bust someone who has a high level position like the guy they busted in Howard county.
