Your mistake was not Rockville, but your rate.  You are definitely hot, but $$$ is too beaucoup.  $$ will have your phone ringing off the hook.  I am more of a downtown DC guy, but I have the benefit of working there.  I know a lot of guys hate going into DC.

Without a question, downtown DC is your best choice. End of Story.
