I have a friend coming into D.C. who has heard a lot about Georgetown nightlife and would like to go out for the evening: dinner, clubs, dancing, etc.

I was recently down there for the first time in about fifteen years. The clubs that used to be hip are now lame, straight clubs have gone alternative and vice-versa, and others have disappeard completely. I felt like Rip Van Winkle.

So, can anyone recommend good venues for the following:

Dinner: Seafood, Sushi, or Thai
Entertainment: Live music
Dancing: Don't particularly care if it's gay or straight, though I'd prefer not to have to fend off inquiries all night.
Crowd: Looking for late twenties through early thirties. Definately  don't want to be the oldest guy in the room by a decade. Don't want a lounge-lizard group either.

Also, if there's anything that's particularly hot/trendy/spot of the moment, I'd appreciate some 411. Thanks.

Club---H2O or Dream, but not at Georgetown.
