Being new here and all, I just wanted to get a roll call of all my other bretheren in or around Baltimore City.  Feel free to email me at [email protected] or respond in the posts here.  I just want to see how many other hobbyists are in the area since we don't have our own section in the boards (YET!).  All of you that DO live in and around Baltimore know how much of a hassle it is to go to DC and NoVa just to indulge in an hour of time with a lovely lady, and then have that horrible drive back afterwards!  I think that if we band together and have a real showing of how many of us there are, maybe we can make things a little easier on ourselves in the long run.  By the way, Ladies, please feel free to chime in on this too.  The more locals we know about the more business they will get in the lnog run.  Thanks and I hope to hear from you all soon!

Sincerely,

BaltimroeHonky

I live in Baltimore County (White Marsh), have lived in the area for all my 32 years. I gave up on making the trek to DC a couple years ago, to much hassle to spend a couple hours with someone, would rather fly to Vegas or LA for 4 or 5 days to be honest.

I have to drive TWO hours to NoVA or DC, or 3 to Bal'mer (and there are a lot of good women between DC and Baltimore).  It'd be nice if it wasn't so far.  On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be completely local either.  The extra comfort being from out of town gives may indeed be illusory, but I like it.  I think you have it made--an hour away is about right.

just moved from baltimore to DC and I had more fun in b'more.  Apartment in canton on the waterfront, lived like a king for much less money.  saw more girls, regular dating, escorts, and also from the nice strip clubs, but also from the hole in the wall clubs.  I still drive up there for entertainment at times.

I am from Philly area but take biz trips to DC and Virginia a couple times a month so any incalls between Baltimore and DC near 95 are convenient to me.

As I've said WAY too many times for Joe Baloney's digestive system, I live in Southwest Baltimore County.  That makes BWI, Woodlawn, Randallstown, Owings Mills, Elkridge, Columbia, Ellicott City, Odenton, Glen Burnie, Towson, Timonium, Cockeysville, Baltimore Inner Harbor, even White Marsh, Laurel and College Park ALL "prime feeding grounds" for me.  Once it gets any further away than that, it starts to "hurt".  My biggest preferences: BWI, Woodlawn, Randallstown, Elkridge and Columbia.

In case they don't show up for roll call, add jjkool, Tuxedo_ Vince, and UD to our ranks as well!

Oh yes, this "exercise" should HELP, but the primary thing the touring agencies and indies look at is ATTENDANCE and the BOTTOM LINE.  Since many DO tour in the "northlands", the operative question is: do they make more in DC or Baltimore?  The second question: is it worth their while to make BOTH stops on a tour?  It isn't enough for us to just be here and be counted.  We have to reserve and show up for sessions and fork over the Benjamins.  Simple as THAT.

Now as a Bal'mer boy, you have absolutely NOTHING to CONFESS ABOUT, RCP!  Be PROUD and wear your Ravens Purple!  After all, TER just CALLS this the DC board to keep those jokers happy...

You are not the only people having to commute. We have guys come as far as Richmond to hobby. I only do this during the work week (Crystal City) because I live a hr south. Do the math.

Depending upon the day of the week and hour of day, an hour south of Crystal City could be ANYWHERE between Woodbridge and Fredericksburg.  I would NEVER expect to "have a grip" on NoVa land, bigdaddy, particularly SOUTH NoVa land.  Of course, it wouldn't hurt to get that damn Wilson Bridge finished.  From what I'm hearing, the FIRST new span (only) will be finished in 2006.  I suspect the whole thing will be obsolete when it opens.  Once it does, I'd be willing to concede as far south as College Park, New Carollton, or Landover.  It's the going into DC part to which I REALLY object.

You had it narrow down to the exact location buddy. I hate traveling on 495/395/95 to Maryland/D.C. I don't drive to work so I miss out on Jasmine/Jewel/ Ashana/ Denice D on the Maryland side (unless holiday or off day).  I catch metro, I will see DD because she is off the metro. Your commute is just as bad as mine. The only local lady I have seen is Chloe in Fredericksburg.I alway see the touring ladies in D.C.

I just saw Ashana TODAY.  After a string of "dud" experiences, I knew she would be just the "pickmeup" I needed. I scored her a 10 in my last review.  Well, she was even BETTER than THAT.  Now, she's got the Kegel perfected as well.  OMG.  My heart goes out to you, having to miss all the "talent" you mentioned.  Of course, you NoVa guys have a bunch of talent we northerners are not likely to see anytime soon, either.

Don't worry, the touring agencies aren't abandoning DuPont Plaza anytime soon.  That place is a "lock" with them.  All us folks up north want is to be separately kept on their touring schedule, as well!  Believe me, there's plenty to go around for EVERYBODY!

Point taken man.Not going to disagree. I miss out because I don't have time and other commitments in my life..Only problem I have is with the local talent I don't see. Plenty of women to go around. I just pay more. We can agree to disagree.

You have the local talent in MD, why whine when traveling provider come to town? Just don't understand that. If I want to see someone I will make the trip to BWI/Dupont Circle. No need to whine.

As I said before, the BEST answer is if they make BOTH stops.  Besides, I feel there are compelling reasons all around for just THAT, both for the hobbiests, and the agencies.

Those who "know" me best realize that I am not "whining".  It is really a "lobbying crusade".  Up north here, we worked long and hard to get "on the touring map" as a regular "stop".  We know how easily that could all "evaporate".  So we maintain our "vigil" and support, and continue the work.
