about kids with firecrackers, they are dangerous!!!

My son lighted up few firecrakers, trew inside the upstairs toilette and flushed...you can imagine what happened....the toilette blew up, water sipping everywhere around the house from broken pipes.

It happened last evening, when I was getting ready for my DC trip and he was taking a shower before going to bed.

So, my trip is canceled, I have a team of plumbers working on my house right now, replacing the pipeline.

For the ones who already booked me...sorry I will make up for you when I return to DC.

For the ones calling me today....thanks and sorry too, I will see you next time.

Wow Betty, that truly stinks.  I hate dealing with ANY contractor :(  I agree about the firecrackers....my nephew thought it would be a simply GREAT idea to put a firecracker in that school project that requires you to make a volcano out of clay or whatever.

So instead of using the ol' vinager and baking soda to make it erupt he used a firecracker instead.......thank goodness he decided to try it out an MY house before he did it in school lol.  Needless to say, a new volcano needed to be made :)

than paying over 5 thousand to fix the damages.

Now Missy, we ALL know YOUR methods for erupting volcanoes are MUCH better than either the pyrotechnic or the chemical ones.

As for YOU Betty, I didn't mean to slight YOUR considerable talents for eruption EITHER....~~

As for CONTRACTORS, I don't mind dealing with EITHER of you gals in that "capacity".

Only bottle rockets, ash cans and certain M80's work when wet. Regular firecrackers dont. Been there tried that.

well, the ones he had looks like firecrackers to me. And they work in water. I have the plumber bill as proof.

Not to change the subject too much, Missy, but at least one of us is looking forward to when your new calendar will be posted on your website.  Does a contractor do that for you, or is it a do it your selfer?

Hi,
I was hit severely with hurricane Wilma :(  I was without power from the 23rd of October until just the day before yesterday :(

Being without power for 9 days has set me behind on my updates :(  I am working on it this morning :)
Sorry about the hijack Betty :(

Thanks for the update and sorry to hear about the loss of power.  I was out of power here for five days two years ago, the remnant of a hurricane.

They come up here from Florida, too.  Looking forward to you causing another loss of power here in several weeks.
