It sucks to make a date, travel 3 hours to get there, be sitting on "go", with a cold bottle of Champagne, and have the date fail to go through.  Too late to make alternate arrangements, (what with the need to verify and all), and no back up "go to" lady to call.  And anyway,  what lady wants a last minute call when she knows that she was "Plan B"?

Always have an agency or two you can call in situations like this.

Plan B's work. Have been stood up on 2 occasions and went online to find an alternate. Ended up as a regular with both wonderful ladies. Ladies don't mind at all, they are happy that you thought of them even as an alternative.

Thanks for the valuable advice.  Yes, she is well reviewed, and was very apologetic.  Shit happens, it's true.  Last week I had to cancel with another lady two hours early because of an issue with a family member that needed immediate attention.  We rescheduled for the next day and had a great time.  I hold no grudge there.

Good question.  She claimed to have sent me a text message earlier in the day.  It was not received, although I received all of her other text messages leading up to the date.  She sent me an email one hour before the appointed time.  I was using my hobby phone (text and voice only), and was unable to retrieve emails until I arrived on location.  So, I found out as I was parking the car.
