Made the appointment Monday for 9:30 this morning.  Last night, she sent me the hotel address and confirmed the time, to which I replied perfect.  

I told the job that I'd be in around noon, and went to sleep thinking that I was going to have a great morning.

She touched base via text at 8:06 and then again at 8:13 asking me to confirm by 9 am.  I texted her at 8:38 to confirm and again at 8:48 am to let her know that I was on my way.

Fought through the ridiculous Beltway traffic around Tysons Corner, arrive and text her that I was there.  No response.  Called, got no answer and left a message.  Stayed until 9:45, then left.

Thanks for nothing Mya...maybe the rest of you have had better luck with her...hell, maybe one of you got there early and extended through my time...

Oh well...

I know it sucks... Been there before, but sometimes due to unforeseeable circumstances providers are not able to keep their appointments. Hopefully, the provider would have some explanation, and make up  for your troubles one way or other- unless she is one of those BP providers who double books.

Looking at your post I see something which I know to be hidden trend in NCNS ( No Call No Shows) this would be "texting". We do not and will not do business via text. This decision was made about 5 years ago in the Fantasys Network, because we discovered a higher instance of client issues with those clients who depend or insist on texting. Additionally, we do know as a rule, with men a spoken commitment has more psychological weight that a texted one. This is why all appointments are booked via voice. Now one can argue 'convenience' in a nation of drive thru's, (we're a bunch of lazy asses as a people) however we have a couple of company maxims which apply.

1) Truth can only be proven by results. ( We have a near zero NCNS percentage)
2) The time to take care of a problem is BEFORE you have one.

Thusly, our no texting policy works for us. Now how that will apply to you and your life I can't say. My point is, I'm merely sharing a trend we are aware of. It seems this trend has a provider to client side as well and we'll need to look at this.

Sorry you were given a case of blue buddies. If it's any consolation for you, I run an Agency and I didn't get any this morning either... or yesterday... or the day before that... or....

There is a chance they she could have never received your texts and vice versa - assuming you texted her when you got there. Sometimes texts get delayed - just like emails. I agree with Lee that calling is the best way to get confirmation.

There is a higher level of accountability when you get a voice...

Sorry to hear about that. This year I have problems with nocall noshow 5 times for total $1300 that the providers could have got for me.

Now, for all you who try to excuse Mya with the "maybe the txt didn't go through.." "maybe txt was delyed..."  blah blah blah.  Her txt was working at 8:06 and now dramatically her txt has not worked at all up until now?!?!  No word from her at all?!?!?!  Not even an apology!?!?!?

Simply put...Leo got stood up for whatever, in my book, mostly un-accepted reasons.  She confirmed all the way up till 54 mins before the appointment?!?!  And you guys wanna excuse her with some flimsy azz excuses?!?!?  Please!!!

I my opinion and experience, having morning appts can be risky:
1. Her snooze button malfunctioned and didnt go off.
2. She woke up, turned her alarm off, confirmed you are coming and fell back to sleep.
3. She was up late the nite before and said f - it and went back to sleep.
4. and the list goes on

I prefer mid day to early evening apts.  Bottom line, getting stood up happens.  Usually the make-up appt rocks

I don't understand it. I make sure I call as I am leaving to go to them to reassure them I am on my way. Texting is great but I want to hear a voice before we see each other. Most call me if they are doing incall to let me know they are almost here. Its just really unprofessional and there's no excuse.

Unprofessional behavior from providers is rampant in this business. This happened to me twice in the last 10 years.

Whenever I have had to cancel a session, I have always notified the provider as early as possible.

She fucked up, no excuse, unless something very serious occurred.

But I think she likely booked another for the same time and the one who called first to confirm or first to arrive got his spot. Or possibly as he suggested she may have booked another who offered more for a longer appointment, which is still fucked up.

Or the worse, she got busted, that's been known to get in the way of a call back.

Seriously, texting should be OK but are not as reliable as a call, especially when confirming an appointment.

And these aren't excuses, only plausible reasons for her NCNS.

Now how bad would everyone feel if she got assaulted by someone and is now in the hospital, or worse, dead? Hell, even that's been know to happen.

You have statistics to show the frequency of unprofessional behavior weighed against those who show varying levels of professionalism? I'd love to see them.

And I would say 2 times in 10 years is pretty good odds unless in 10 years you have made only 2 appointments hahaha.

It makes me laugh when people talk about professionalism in this life style. It's not like they went to college or took a vocation course to learn how this "Business" should be done "Professionally".

Yea maybe someone should offer to teach them professionalism and how to run a business.

Not all independents or agencies are like DreamEscorts and Lee. Actually I would say Lee stands far ahead of the average and should be made the mark everyone should strive to achieve with level of professionalism he shows.

Oh hell, he's the only one in this area who goes out of his way to be professional hahaha. All the others couldn't give a rats ass what the customers think until it gets in the way of making $. And from what I have see, the client would look past the lack of professionalism when making their decision as long as the one they see advertised is even close to a super model in appearance.

This is because many men make their choices and decisions while under the influence of excited hormones and a hard-on hahaha. What proof is there for this act, look at all those who write reviews saying they should have walked away but instead let there uncontrollable desires make bad decisions only to complain in a review once the Love Drug wears off.

Oh, and just so you know, I have been stood up by a NCNS 2 times in 10 years also. But I can't count the number of times I was told they had to cancel, or move the time, or make me wait sometimes hours. Yes I complain, but move on letting others know what's in store for them.

Now after getting involved in this thread I hope fate and luck works in my favor and it isn't something that will happen to me any time soon. What are the odds of that??

maybe I missed this but to clear up any questions, text msgs are a store and forward tech meaning they are stored within the carriers network until the phone connects with a nearby tower. So either the billing cycle just came due and they shut off service, the phone is in the middle of the effing desert or the phone is off.

If it's on, it gets the text.

I don't need to stand before you with a chalkboard and explain the statistics. Take a few hours out of your time and read the reviews. If your antennas are up, you'll realize that a good number of providers are under the illusion that sub par behavior and low standards are acceptable.

BTW--This also just happened to a fellow hobbyer several days ago in NOVA. He was left hanging in the parking lot by an Indy with a good track record. It ended well for him because he had plan B at the ready.

It shouldn't make you laugh when I and other TER members speak of professionalism here. I'm certain many clients take time out of their busy schedules and travel well out of their way in order to see providers. A provider who leaves her client hanging at the door is behaving like an asshole, and shame on her. After all, how difficult is it to phone a client and cancel a session?

Do you want to know the odds on your next session with a provider? Call the provider who left that poor fellow from this thread hanging and book time with her. I wish you best of luck.

It's been a crap shoot since the beginning of time. You gamble and play the odds every time you schedule. So excuse me if I find it funny when people talk about professionalism.

How do you describe the clients who do the same thing? I feel bad for everyone who gets stood up like he did because I know how it feels. But really, some think it's like corporate America or a big box store or some other professional service oriented LEGITIMATE and LEGAL business.

My odds have improved dramatically because of TER and the circle of friends I have. But still it's a crap shoot and the best you can do is try to improve the odds of winning a good experiences against a lack luster because of someone having a bad day or worse, stood up like the OP.

Hi everyone.. unfortunately i did not stand him up... i had a little accident in the shower which my assistant did mention to him.. he did not call me... only text message. but i couldn't answer because i was hurt. I am a very professional provider and never do anything bad with any clients. this is why i have great reviews..... i have every text message that was sent to him and was received from him... he was aware later in the day that I was in a small accident. I just think its very unprofessional that he would make such a post about something that was already discussed. Ive apologized. and told him it was a accident.  I was not popped nor did i book anyone else for that day... Again i apologize for the misunderstanding but please do not believe that i stood him up.
