I was interested in the post about a week ago, guy trying to connect with hostess in Bethesda. Apparently, taken down.

I posted one recently calling out the new TER policy of giving virtually no info except to VIPs; had a lot of reads in a brief time; taken down. Reason given was that a current thread was going on the same page. No such thread.

I'll probably be scolded for this post, but have no PM.

Now, it's OK if I post, "Who has the sexiest knees in the tri-state area?"

In tough economic times business owners try different methods to raise more revenue..
I doubt it will bring in more paying
customers but will in fact bring in less..
Not enough teasers for the new viewers and more will leave and not come back..IMO

With the new policy for TER, Im afraid it will increase fake reviews. Maybe Not

One advantage to the new system ,is the fake reviewers won't be able to see the performance numbers, so how will they guess what numbers to use..
If I see a 9 on performance chances are she does bbbj..If some dude writes a fake review and gives a lady a 9 with bbbj and she only does 7s and covered bj , TER will be all the wiser to his game..
I have such a long list of to do  from when I last had VIP status, that the new system  doesn't bother me ..
When I was first thinking of hobbying I checked numerous other boards before I learned of TER..I moved on quickly from them since they didn't offer the amount of info I found here..
I am three reviews behind as of now ...All I have to do is quit procrastinating and I can get my VIP status back..

Yea what you say is true, but I just meant those who wanted the VIP status and make some fake reviews, the fake reviewer may already know what her services are from another source.

I don't know hopefully not, But I have seen a few providers recently post in the DC section about a fake review, that they wanted removed.

It could be in other cities as well....

your scenario is not the only path to writing a fake review.

someone looking at the local boards or simply provider ad sites can certainly cobble together a credible but completely fake review from information NOT on TER including credible numbers. it can be pretty clear from the message traffic who is hot and who is not.

with the numerical scores open, a hobbyist on-the-cheap could navigate a little. with the scores hidden he HAS to get VIP in order to try to be more discriminating than avoiding a rip-off.

the marginal reward of a fake review has increased, i.e. fake reviews have been incentivized.

i pay for VIP. the modest gift of a few days until the next renewal billing is a nice gift. as for making lists..... well that's fun too...
