first October rendezvous with an out-of-town provider a week before meeting her due to finding out something about her that was unacceptable to me.  I will keep what that was confidential since some people may not find it a problem for them, just for me.

Well, Nick, when I find out something about a provider that I can't tolerate that someone else may like, I cancel the appointment at least a week out.  There is always another provider.  It was really dumb luck that I found out about what terminated the rendezvous for me, but that's life.
