Tyson's has alot of great hotels at good prices.

Why the 25% price increase? You'd do better undercutting the competition.

And quite frankly, at your age (your profile age is about 15 years off) and with so-so GFE I probably wouldn't go for it.

Reach out to similar providers like yourself and see what their experience is..

Some guys like to see younger gals in their 20s.. Some like 30-45 (like myself).. Some are cool w/ 50+ providers..

I don’t know your demographic, but I don’t think you would get much business with that rate. Sure, this is only based on my observations and personal preferences. There’s a reason why Asian and Latina agencies are big in the Tyson’s area. Not only due to the demands of the client base here, but also because most are in their 20-30’s and charge 20-25% less than the rate you’re hoping to get. I would expect that even $250/hour might be tough for you here and that’s even with your menu options. I could be dead wrong, but it wouldn’t surprise me if you only got 1-3 clients a day even at $250 in Tysons at best. I recommend you check out the reviews in this area, compare them to your own reviews and the info in your profile, and see where you fit in.

So my short answer is: I don’t think so.

MouthHugs is right.  You're a pretty lady and based on reviews, you're also very skilled. But the NOVA/DC market seems to value youth above all (and if you've ever spent time on the Hill, you know that place runs on youth).

I haven't done a census (but wow how fun would that be?) but I get the feeling there are a lot of hobbyists in this area who wake up next to a 50+ year old, blond(ish), white woman every morning...

Doubtful’s quote at $250 doesn’t make sense, as that’s the rate for non-GFE potentially trafficked providers.  Here in Tyson’s, the agencies are charging $300-400. True Independents are charging $350-500.

Due to cost of living here in the DC area, you’ve got to charge more than your Naples incall rate of $300 to make the trip worthwhile to you.

Agree with most of the above. Some thoughts:

1. Tysons is a huge office park/shopping mall/dense residential area. I wouldn't call it a concrete jungle, but it isn't really a walkable area even though they are trying to make it one. By huge, I once read that if Tysons was considered its own metro area apart from DC, it would be #8 in the US. I don't know if that is accurate, but it is plausible.

2. Talk to provider friends if you have some who have been here. It is popular in large part because of easy freeway access and abundant and cheap hotels with free parking. The restaurants are nowhere as good as the Michelin-starred ones in in downtown DC, but there are some good ones.

3.  There is a market for you here given our demographics. Some men here are into petite young Asian gals (me), but many of the K-girls are marginal in English. Often, pillow talk and extended dates are what is as much of an interesting part of the date as the BCD activities. Off-the-clock dinner dates at high-end restaurants and serious GFE in and out of the room are definitely a plus for many men (also me). Because I am looking for both the young Asian-American hottie GFE or SB girls (preferably graduate students or a bit older), I am looking for very rare unicorns when I am between SBs as they move on to the professional careers that match their educations.

4. Unless you are a K-girl, DO NOT go below $300/hour (and for them only a bit). Anything lower suggests neo-Backpage gals who also have 30 minute and 15 minute rates. At $300/hour you will find lots of interest; check with gals who have been here to find out how much demand drops off at higher rates.

You can ignore the negative responses. I don't know why people can't respond nicely to a genuine question, but are tripping all over themselves on GD board to help someone who is clearly adept at making attention grabbing posts..

That being said I do agree with those who pointed out that $400 might be a bit stiff, if you are looking for more volume..

Good luck.

I did meet you in Danbury. And I know your real age. Still driving that shitbox Corolla?

Your incall that year was right down the street from Taco Bell.

While I was trying to be nice but didn’t mention this, I merely based my response on knowledge of a provider in her mid-50’s from Southeastern MD who has similar reviews as the OP. She charged less than $300/hour the two times she visited Tyson’s, and barely saw a client per day so she claimed. Not saying this will be the same story for the OP, but I do think there is research that should be done before the OP visits. That’s all. Blowing up this thread responding to her own posts is only drawing, what I assume, is the wrong kind of attention towards the personality that happens to be linked to the service.

Never mind these overthinking naysayers.  Bring your geriatric ass over to Tysons and make some money.  Afterall you have to play to win.  Please report back.  I'm actually curious myself whether you hit the jackpot or a cautionary tale.  On the whole, the Tysons area have tons of disposable income.  Bring your friends.

Median age is 66 in Naples, so it’s got some social security and retirement money, plus they have Publix!  I’ll take living in this DC suburban “slum” any day though, heh.

Please excuse the negative comments here in the DMV. I'd love to see you if you decide to visit. You look incredible and I love a woman who takes care of her car.

Then why aren’t you sharing your awful advice and fake facts on the New England board more instead of flooding these other city boards with your posts? I was just checking out the scene in Chicago as I will be heading there before long, and you’re flapping your gums all over that board too!

On a side note, I saw you claim somewhere else that you thought the war in Ukraine was why you aren’t getting business in a retirement area in FL. I don’t know how you make that connection, but at least your ridiculous logic is consistent. I would venture to guess it has more to do with Covid, your personality, how you come across on these boards, where you choose to post your ads, the means of communication you require of potential clients, your price point, competition, and possibly your lack of a website.
