I am a hobbyist based in Boston visiting DC for the first time in several years.  Last night I responded to many of the discussion board posts by providers over the last 24 hours by sending e-mails to let them know I would be in DC today  and providing my screening information.

I am a well-verified member of Date-Check with 10 positive references from established providers.  In New England, New York or Philadelphia, this is considered more than ample screening information.

While I realize that contacting providers with less than 24 hours warning is definitely last minute, I haven't received a single courtesy reply.  

I know it's Thanksgiving Week, but it was my impression from reading all the posts that there was ample provider availability.  What did I do wrong?

Call them now that you sent your screening information which should also have included your cell phone.

Never expect fast replies through email. And while you have good references, they may still want more personal information than you are comfortable with providing.

And why is it you don't support TER and other members with reviews of who you have seen but have no problem asking for others to help you with this question here?

Maybe you should spend more time cruising on your bike dude, you might have better luck cruising around Dupont Circle on your hog than sending email.

I've been hobbying around the DC area for almost 20 years, have thirty date-check references and must have learned at least a decade ago, if you want fast replies from email, your more likely to get them from Agencies, than Indies and even then, YMMV.

The phone works best.  If you don't like to use your personnal or business cell phone, run into a Walmart or a Target and get a disposable...

Quite a few girls seem to be around, I'd like to spend some time with a few girls from either PrimeDC or ClassDC myself, expect the ball and chain has me driving to see the mice of Orlando!  What's the big deal there?  As we all know... Minnie is crazy, after all she's been screwing Goofy!  And I suspect that Grumpy got that way because he can't get Viagra!

Except not one of the seven providers I wanted to contact list a phone number.  All of them want me to lead off with an e-mail.  Which I did.  To no avail.

There are two kinds of VIP members at TER - those who provide reviews and those who pay cash.  I prefer to pay cash.  I appreciate your reviews and those of others, but the owners of TER don't live on reviews alone.

I object to the characterization of VIP members who pay instead of posting reviews as somehow being "selfish".

For some ladies,it may be difficult to see a new client with less than a 24 hr notice. Specifically, if the ladies you mentioned did check their email till the morning, they may have had plans for the day already, bypassed your email knowing they were unable to accommodate you, and plan to send you your "courtesy reply" later when they had more time.

On another note, did you check out their appointment
page to see what info they ask for for screening. Did you provide ALL info?While I understand some people are comfortable providing limited personal info, because of this you may go lower on their priority list.

I don't take it personally.  Providers get a lot of emails and when they're booked up already, they often just ignore the other emails.  Last minute appointments are always difficult unless you're hooking up with someone you have seen already.  No response means no appointment possible, and I just move on.

Agreed. You are among the best, if not the best, at getting back in touch and keeping things moving.
