Gents,

I have to ask... is it fairly easy to see providers that don't screen? I have no flexibility when it comes to screening and have been receiving quite a bit of resistance since I've moved. This leads me to believe that ladies either aren't screening or aren't prioritizing this in the booking process.

Is there something I'm missing?

I think the screening process has become lax as the economy has become tougher and there are more providers providing, hence the competition has increased and providers do not want to miss any opportunity. Thats my two cents.

Unless it's a backpage girl I don't see anyone who doesn't screen.

Now, there's screening and then there's Screening™

My P411 or Date-Check profile serves well for 95% of the use cases. However, there are providers whom employ Screening™ and insist on multiple references in addition to P411 or DC verification. A provider has to really be something special for me to give up provider references, as in come to me with multiple enthusiastic recommendations from people I trust that a choir of angels will appear and sing the Hallelujah chorus on each and every pop. Not saying that I've never done it, but for the most part I pass on doing business with these types of providers because it's a pain in the ass for me and a pain in the ass for the provider(s) that I would ask because time is money for us all.

There are many new ones who don't screen.

Generally speaking if it is a girl from BackPage, I could tell her that I am Charles Manson and she is going to tell me to come right over and leave the donation on the table.  If it is a lady from TER, there is going to be a full screening and she is not going to be able to see me "right now".  Frankly, I feel better when a women screens as I will take the illusion that she offers exclusivity over no sense of exclusivity whatsoever.  

Don't give in.  It only takes one mistake.

...keep their information private, because I screen, screen, and screen. Sites such as P411 and Date-Check are good, but they do not tell a courtesan the  gentleman's place of employment or his real name.  Now, if they did that......

  Many ladies in this profession are employed in other areas, and like them, I cannot afford myself, or my company to be compromised.  I just turned down a three hour date through P411, because he was not willing to provide me with additional information.  Thankfully, I am not desperate, and stuck to my guns.

  Most of my gentlemen callers know my real name, other profession, etc. Trust is a two way street.

I have no idea what your requirements are, but you shouldn't assume that a guy is unwilling to be screened just because he is unwilling to go through your particular screening process.  I don't think very many guys will have a problem giving a provider or agency reference.  The most resistance comes when requests are made for real names and employment information - which seems to be a more and more common request.  As Snoop Dogg once said, "Ain't no p***y good enough to get burned while I'm up in it."  In other words, no matter how hot a gal may be and how great her reviews are, it's not worth losing your job and/or family over.  
In addition, guys realize that the idea that screening protects them - which providers love to say - is nonsense.

And that's entirely your prerogative. If that methodology works for your business and makes you feel secure, great. However, that type of screening is a time consuming process that carries inherent risk and much like you, my time is my money and there's always a risk/reward calculation. There's a reason I pay money to P411 and DC and that reason is I prefer to endure that process only once (the P411 process, in particular, is quite rigorous). If multiple okays and references aren't good enough then as a market participant I'm going to decline to transact business with that vendor in 9 of 10 cases, because, to me it simply isn't worth it.

I'm moving to DC área nextel moneth. Screening is *Mandatory* with me, and I only for specific see white listed Gentleman. Unless I know their refrences..and even then I contact them. But, then I am only t time. Aalso very safety consious. So, I  look for specific things, and am very safety consious..so that tends to weed out guys who would have a problem being screened.

Same here for the first pa ragraph. They would be hiring the wrong girl if they dont want to be screened. That is their norm.Communication would end there. But I don't have to do this.

To some my screening may seem lax, to some it may seem draconian.  usually I require EITHER references  OR recent OKs on Dcheck/p411

If none are available only then do I move to work verification route.  IMHO, this is the LEAST reliable way to screen.

Men in some other cities seem to have issues and try to get around my screening requirements, which means I cannot see them, but in DC everyone has been very co-operative. They seem to understand that we are not going to risk our lives and our freedom, and will supply all the necessary information.
If you are running into difficulties, you should try to re-evaluate your screening methods. Offering an alternative way or two to get screened may help.

I don't have an issue with screening. I think a lady is entitled to protect herself and, after all, we're asking them to have a certain faith in us. A knock on the door could be anybody.

That said, I think I'd draw the line at things like home address and phone and the like. I only gave out my work # once, and that was to Date-Check and nothing has come back. If it's an established provider or agency with reviews on here and a reputation for discretion, there is no real compelling reason bot to be forthright about yourself.

And there's another argument for using TER, isn't it? I don't think I'd give up personal - and potential damaging -- information about myself to a stranger or someone nobody on here has an experience with. But as someone said above, trust goes both ways.
