I'm only 6-7 months in, so I'm vaguely curious about pricing though I'm not lamenting the current state of affairs because 350-500/hr + tip sounds okay to me.  I suppose if I were paying far less a few years ago the difference would be how often I visit.  

Yes, rates around here are in some cases almost like Manhattan, but if one is daring....there are lots of UTR providers around $350 and under, but the problem is ......who will lead the way and TOFTT?

I see plenty of ladies who are 400 or less. Every once in a while I'll go above that but not too often.  

Since it's sort of being tangentially discussed here, why do people think prices have gotten so high and do you think they'll go back down at some point? It feels crazy to me. I've largely stopped hobbying in this area because the prices just feel like a terrible value relative to other entertainment options when there was a time I'd see someone every month to 2 months at $300-$500 a pop, and this was less than 10 years ago. You could find attractive women at that rate. Now it feels like women that most men would find overtly unattractive (everyone's tastes differ of course) are charging $500 and attractive ones are charging $800 to as much as $2000 an hour. I'll largely do this when I'm in another city or country now.

Once they ask for more there’s no going back. If it reduces their appointments they learn to live on less and might like a slower schedule. Anyone who is 1,000 and higher probably already have a large number of old clients that have been granted a grandfather rate to keep her financially healthy and the higher rate clients are a bonus extra. Eventually the guys will schedule more and more. There are still plenty to pick from that have not blown up their rates yet, especially the Asian, fortunately for me. And as difficult it may be to pay so much higher, if you want it bad enough you will make it work, so my giving up 500-600 is not out of the question. But it will reduce the frequency a bit.

800-2000 for "attractive"?  

I almost thought those were your price points 😱 there are so many out there in that price range. 2,000 possibly for an overnight 😁, that would be an awesome deal.  

Cristal Saige seems like a new comer who might a great value prop.  She fits the bill for cost and I like the curves.  

"Low cost" for hookers is, I just learned, a relative term. To me, the $300-400 hookers are midrange. The "low cost" providers are dishing it out for $160, 100 for qv.  
 
You're speaking of the "low cost *predictable* providers," the ones where she looks pretty much like the pic in her ad. But even then, in my experience, it can turn out the pic is some rando from the web. Admittedly, I think the 160 crowd have unwritten rules: "1. Thou shalt not post a pic of yourself or even one remotely resembling you; 2. thou shalt not list list an age over 26; and 3. "thou shall give a mostly honest and complete list of your services." -- It's rule 3 that keeps me going back when they offer what I want at that moment. 😭

The thread got off topic from a question about specific providers that have reasonable rates to a philosophical discussion about rates which is off point.

Five or ten years ago, $500 bought gorgeous, under-25 White girls with full menus and national reputations,  and $350 bought the same full menu from an "8" looking girl who worked regionally.  These days, there a LOT of girls asking over $1,000, which is insane.  Inflation certainly has played a role, but would only partly explain current asking prices in the stratosphere.  I suspect that some girls just put up an astronomical price to see if they got any interest.  If so, why would they take less?  Those who get little traffic might only turn the occasional trick for a little extra cash, but otherwise derive their income from elsewhere.  Those who don't have other professional opportunities and who can't generate enough traffic at an inflated rate, will probably have to settle for less. I've also me a couple of girls who have regulars "grandfathered" in at lower rates who pretty much fill their weekly schedules.  From time to time, when a slot opens up, they'll see someone new, but at a much higher rate.  One gorgeous young lady I know started a few years ago UTR at $300.  She then advertised at $400, and quickly got fully booked with regulars.  Within a year, her advertised price shot up to $600, but with a $1,000 minimum for new clients.  

Asian Meena has a rate of 260. She's doesn't look like a model but I like her and she's got a nice body. Her service is incredible as is her attitude. I regularly go over an hour and she doesn't care.
