Go to Tyson's for an appt with a girl advertised as new to the business. Get the room number a little late but go up. I knock on the door and stand there a few minutes and leave. Text the service and tell them I'm leaving and they get back with me and tell me she's ready. I go back up and AGAIN no answer. Believe me ladies, we get stood up too!

To me a few months ago, Parked, got the room number, walked up to the door, got a txt right as I was about to knock "shes not there, she had to go to a funeral"

So I left, and then they call me 35min later and say "she's back, you can go up" yea right thanks for being classy....

Yes, I hate having to attend those last minute funerals. LOL

unless you identify the party involved.  Did the agency compensate you in some way?  It would be good for us and them, if they did and you let us know that.

No compensation but to be fair I didn't ask.  Just chalked it up to a bad experience.  Should have known to go see someone with no reviews.  Can't really blame the agency too as they sometimes get stuck just like us.

Don't post the information here unless you are willing to be banned by the agency. Yes, that's how these agencies treat the people who go against them publicly. Just chalk it off to 'bad experience'.

I got stood up by an Independent the other day. If you want to know her name go to RO board and look for my post - it was a reply to another post from a local hobbyist.

That is one of the reason I don't hobby with agencies.

OK thank you! Now if anyone here does not believe that the major agencies around do not post fake reviews and can see that board I laugh at you. By the way I am a regular customer at a well known one here.

Not only that, but there are White Knights all over the RO board, who would, at the drop of a hat out you. They love to kick providers' asses for kickbacks and discounts.  

That is the reason to use Alias while posting sensitive information RO board.

I know there are always threads about someone standing someone up regardless of if there was a valid excuse, but seriously... I used to get upset and complain on the boards about it but the fact is it happens!

Is it annoying... of course!
Is it disrespectful... Absolutely!

So why does it happen so much??? Well... in my opinion... folks around here are very busy in the DC area... not to make that (or suggest it does not happen outside the D.C. area) an excuse but asside from that, most are pretty self absorbed! I know I value my time so sometimes I forget or otherwise don't care what might be on my agenda if something more crucial comes up so i should not expect anything less from others. As discourtious as it may be... it is a simple fact that it has happened... and in all probability will continue to happen... to the ladies and to the hobbiests.

Though I can understand that these no shows or last minute cancellations are more detrimental to the ladies as it may likely be their source of income but sadly that too is just a cold hard fact of reality. It sucks... but what can you do?
