Here ya go! Hope this helps and if your nervous and need someone to go with you, just PM me... ;)

Testing Locations
Sure! A quick google search is all I did, not sure of which area you are in, I go to places I know in DC mostly because it's like a place on every corner, and when you go, they report the number of ppl they help to get funding for programs and services. Planned Parenthood does testing for men and women, a lot of ppl don't know that! but there may be a small fee for STD testing. So, here's a brief list of links:

IN PG COUNTY: http://www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/Government/AgencyIndex/Health/hiv.asp?nivel=foldmenu%284%29

IN MONT. COUNTY: http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/hhstmpl.asp?url=/content/hhs/phs/index.asp (they say they require residency proof, IDK)

IN BMORE COUNTY: http://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/Agencies/health/healthservices/hivsites.html

IN DC: http://doh.dc.gov/doh/lib/doh/services/administration_offices/hiv_aids/pdf/testingcenters_0607.pdf

From my experience, you do not need residency or an appt in any particular area to get tested, you just need your photo id. Most places have the oral swab HIV test and counseling available while some have services that will test for other STDs through urine or blood- the HIV results you should get the same day! ;)

PG county clinic, you need to pay $10 or so donation and then show proof of PG county residency (ID)
They do a pretty comprehensive test but you have to call early in the morning because slots get filled fast. Within 30 minutes after they open, they are usually booked so you can't schedule anymore.

AA county clinics seem more of a hassle to make an appointment with than it is worth.
Just making an appointment seemed much more of a hassle than anywhere else and they also want proof that you are AA county resident.

I haven't been to Montgomery county clinic but heard they ask for proof of residency. Anyone clarify?

The two locations in Baltimore county I've been to does not ask for ID. Also first cum first serve, but they aren't anywhere as busy as the PG county clinic. However, they don't seem to do a complete STD check like PG county clinic. They just check for 2 or 3 STDs and then a visual check.

One clinic gave me a huge bag full of condoms to take home. lmao  WTF?

but their STD tests are kinda limited.

Check out stdlaert.com - You set it up anonymously online, make an appointment with a local lab (LabCorp, I think) with whatever name you'd like to use.  Come to your appointment; no ID is required (but be prepared to answer a question or two about the form you filled out, like whatever birthday you reported on the form; the techs are just trying to verify they have the right person in the chair).  Leave blood and urine samples for a complete panel.  There are a variety of testing packages but a full panel to check everything is about $235, so you'll need a credit card you're comfortable charging this to; the billing entry is fairly innocuous.  The payment is done online.  A few days later your results come back to you in a PDF lab report on whatever email you specify.  It's about as anonymous as you can get.

The full panel includes tests for -
  Chlamydia
  Gonorrhea
  Hepatitis A, B and C
  Herpes I and II
  HIV I and II
  Syphilis

You can also elect to test for fewer STDs or even a single STD, but why not do the whole thing?  For less than what you'd pay for an appointment you can have some peace of mind.  I've used this service and I've been very satisfied with it.  Fortunately, results have always been negative.  ;-)  But if any tests do come up positive, you can act on those results quickly and save yourself and possibly others from some serious health issues.

Since this is such an important issue,  I want to add my 2 cents.

First I want to echo everything slippery said about getting tested. I use www.stdexpress.com. Everything sounds the same except my 8 panel test costs $249.00. The one extra my service has is that if you test positive for anything, you get a free phone call consultation with a doctor. Fortunately, I have never needed that part of the service!

If you have something treatable by antibiotics, supposedly they will prescribe it by phone to a pharmacy you give them. That would save some money by not having to see a doctor twice - once to get the tests ordered and another to get your results and a prescription.

One last thing, I go to a different state to have my blood drawn and pee in the cup-- away from my house, work, or places I regularly frequent.  I just don't want to risk seeing someone I know. It's easy here because we have DC, MD, and VA to choose from.

Take care and play safe. Your health may effect the ladies, so let's try to give them some respect and peace of mind by knowing we guys are concerned about their health as well as our own.

I've read that the most accurate manner to test men for Gonorrhea is with a swab.  I've also heard that while new urine tests can detect antibodies, they are not very accurate and that you have to utilize the first urine of the day.  Any experts in the house?  This is a great discussion and people should not only get tested, but also learn what the best methods are for accurate results.
