...when they walk through the door. It's like pulling teeth to get more then the usual, "I like everything". I usually decide on universal music unless I get a request. Nothing too crazy, just simple acoustic type stuff...

There was a time, however, I was riding a dude and he kept giggling. I was thinking, "How cute..." I finally asked him what as going on, and he said, "I can't believe I'm having sex to this song." I can't even remember what it was, but it was some dopey JB song, hahaha.

Whoopsie! Can't predict Pandora all the time! :D

Studies have shown that Music can hit the same feel good triggers as sex, so why not go for the best of both worlds? But with all the anticipation, anxiety, and build-up, when you walk into the room with your date for that hour or multiple hours of passion, do you remember or even notice what music is playing? Do you care? Maybe you should as it could be rewarding for both of you.

You should request, at the very least, if she is playing music to play something that will at least enhance the experience for you. Or do you just go along with whats playing and find yourself at some point asking why am I doing this to that song? It should never be like that honey.

Tell me what your ideal play list is when you're getting into it or working up to it. Or tell me your worst, best, or funniest experience with music while in the heat of the moment.

That is funny. Pandora has a way of slipping some interesting songs into one favorites play list. :)

When I travel and host, I have my own playlist, which is mostly jazz (Miles, Bill Evans, Wes Montgomery, etc), vocals (Sinatra, Chet Baker, Diana Krall), and a little bit of funk thrown in to change things up a bit.

When I am in town and do incall, I respond pretty much to anything the lady chooses. Sometimes I hear a mix that I really like, and I ask about it. I'm always looking for new additions.  The way I figure, if its music that makes her relax and feel more in the mood, it works for me. I like just about anything.  Though, I must say that heavy rap or techno that is too frenetic is something that I would ask to change (assuming I'm in a "place" where I care -- usually, I'm pretty much wrapped up in my girlfriend of the moment).

I always have music playing while I am playing. Depending on whom I spend my time with, I have different Pandora stations I have created. Scented candles, music, wine, sexy lingerie are the making for a great experience.
Now I am getting excited about my visit to DC :)

When I travel, I like to do outcalls and usually ask the lady what kind of music they like.  If they say anything, I'll put on what I like.  Since I have over 1200 albums on my iTunes, I can stream from my MacBook.  I was at an incall recently and couldn't get the MacBook to stream, though.  :-(

I love having music during activities.  I'd just be careful about Mellencamp's "Hurts So Good".  ;-)

...that I can't hear anything over the sound of my own heartbeat! I'm not joking here. It's true :)

.....though we're probably actually only paying attention to it while "coming up for air"/during the intermission lol.

My ideal playlist is mostly r&b, little smooth jazz, etc.

Get down to some R&B, very sexy indeed.thnak for your input :)

Various songs have connotations (good and bad) for many people.  I think ambient music and music more focused on a rhythm, groove, or tone color is best to start with.  Massive Attack, Tricky, that sort of thing.

But by all means, if you have a "lady jam," turn it up.

I had a provider play her Pandora station...Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, and Lil Wayne were very distracting to my intent lol

Great question.

I go deep in time.  All kinds of saxophone -  mix in some Sinatra, some Bobby Caldwell, maybe some  Bobby Darin and some smooth Motown.  All stuff from before my time, but such an unbothered vibe - like closing your eyes by the ocean when it's just you, the moon, and the one you're with.   As long as housekeeping doesn't knock on the door for turndown service, this music is a smooth ride toward a soft, sweet landing.

about putting a playlist together on my iPhone for my next session. I usually always have music on and it helps me set the mood for whatever I'm doing. My mix would be contemporary / sexy mix of tunes including Jay-Z, JT, Frank Ocean, Jack White, Jeff Buckley, John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Rihanna, Queens of the Stone Age, The Roots, TI, Bruno Mars and Radiohead to name a few...

Thanks for asking, Meg! Great question!

I love Pandora, but I also have a very eclectic music taste. I play the violin and Caribbean steel drums, but also love rock, electronic, pop, R&B, etc -

So since I love just about everything, I like to leave it to my gentleman. Once I get to know someone and what they like, I will make a note of it and find a pandora station based on their fav artists. My suitors always feel more relaxed when they enter a room and feel something comfortable in their ears instead of music that just kills the mood.  And I'm ALWAYS open to suggestion too - I love to change things up.

Plus is gives us a chance to bond over something too, finding new music and sharing music you love with someone that's interested in a great ice breaker ;)

Although I did have a gentleman once that LOVED disco - and let's just say that was a fun appointment!! =)
