Recently I had what I think was a serious problem with a highly rated provieder - Ceara.  I was trying to get reestablished in the hobby after a long absence, and found her on the Top 100 Providers list  We made contact and exchanged several emails and phone calls.  I was having problems getting verified and she went the extra mile and worked with me with advice etc.  Finally we set up an appointment.  The day before she cancelled.  No problem, things happen.  She suggsted a reschedule two days later and we set it up.

On the morning I confirmed with her.  When I arrived at her location, and made the second call, she said she was a little behind schedule and would call be back in five minutes.  After 20 minutes, I called to see if she was OK and left a message.  After 45 minutes, I called again and left a message.  At that point, I badly needed a mens room.  Called again to tell her I was leaving.

I sent an email that night expressing (politely) how upset I was at her behavior.  If she had an emergency - fine.  If she changed her mind - fine.  If she lets me sit at her location for almost an hour - damn well not fine!  I asked for an explanation or I would report the incident.  I don't like to do that as it affects someone's livelihood, but in any business an appointment is a contract, and if cancelled, it cant be that hard to notify the other party.

Have similar things happened to others?  Or am I just naive for believing anything a provider says.  I'd put this in a review if I had actually seen her.  Let me know if others have had this experience.

I would have given her a little time respond.  If she got cold feet she should have been an adult and called you.  Not making excuses for her but there has been a heightened awareness of LE.  Hopefully after next Tuesday and after Mitt takes the White House some of the LE hype will die down.   Sorry guy on the waste of time with Ceara.  I hope you had a plan B

I have seen it a lot more in the past 2 years than 5 to 10 years ago. Time to go on to the next one, plenty of fish in the sea. One provider told me that if you tell her that your are a TER reviewer that she will not double book.

Last summer I arrived at an incall for a 2 hour. When I got to the hotel the provider did not answer the phone. I saw her carrying a box of pizza. One of my buddies had a similar experience last week with another provider.

No matter how fine she is, do not rebook with her. Thanks for posting the name so others can avoid.

I glad that the pizza providers above did what did. I found out further intel via reviews and other people that have seen them, that they were not that good to begin with.

Shit happens...The more you hobby the more it will happen. And it will happen sooner or later not matter whom you see and how stellar a record she has. Its just how the game is played.  That being said, I hope you receive some sort of explanation..

BTW, I have met with Ceara, and she was very professional. (if its the same Ceara you are talking about. See my reviews for cross checking).

Intrade which is a non-partisan prediction market gives Mitt 32% chance of winning. Mitt is behind in almost all swing states. I guess one can always hope for a major upset; Villanova did beat Georgetown.

I've give him points on his credentials for business, and he's done a might hell of a good job. But he cannot relate to the people. One thing I tell my friends when they go into politics is to leave your religion behind you and make decisions base on "the people". Its "the people" that rules. Some of you may know exactly what "the people" mean.

Like I said, I give him points on some of his policies, but his ultimate flaw is that he cannot relate to the people. The cost of PBS is $500 million annually. Last time I checked, we still owe Chine several TRILLION dollars. When he takes away the identity of what makes Americans Americans (the people), then he has alienated himself from the community as a whole. I've grown up watching PBS, and so has many other people. Taking something like that away and for a fragment of the deficit is absurd.

I don't want to go into his other plans, but if you take a look at some of his policies towards women, it makes me laugh. I'm not a women, and how can a man decide what a women want? The majority of decisions made towards a women rights is made by men in the government, that is a fact. I still laugh at this flaw because here we are in the year 2012, and we still suppress our women by making decisions that we physically cannot even relate to. That doesn't make any sense to me.

I am getting carried away. The race will be close, but Romney's downfall is his influenced on his religion while making decisions for the people, and he cannot relate to the people. Ultimately, it is "the people" that makes the decisions because of the sovereignty of the states, and it is the priority of the candidates to relate to the people while making their policies if they effectively want to be elected.

Just because someone has stellar credentials as a businessman doesn't mean he is capable of leading the country. It is because you can't run a country (at least not USA) like you run a company.

His business credentials are really worthless for the position he is running for, and given the fact that he is trailing behind in all the battle ground states suggests that he will NOT win the White House...

I am a non partisan person and have voted both Republican and Democrat in the past. I just can't see myself supporting this flip flopper..

Since the conversation was already derailed, thought I would chime in my two cents....

No, I will not rebook her.  As for others, if you have met with Ceara and had good results, by all means continue.  If you have not seen her yet, think twice!

Not trying to pile on here, but I just had a very similar experience with Ceara. A couple of weeks ago I contacted her on a Friday and set up an appointment for Saturday. She verified me and gave me her phone number and all looked good. On Saturday I sent her a text about an hour and a half before the appointment to confirm that I was on my way and would see her soon, but got no response. I got to the general area (don't have an exact address yet) a little before the appointment time and called her but she didn't pick up. Over the next hour I call several times, send multiple texts, even try another email but I don't get a response so I finally leave. Late that night I get a nice email apologizing and offering a time on Sunday, which unfortunately did not work for me, but I let her know that I would try again when I can. She responds with a very nice "just say when and I'll do my utmost to make it happen", and says that she'll make it up to me.

Stuff happens and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I really wanted to see her, so the following week I arrange my schedule so that I can get some play time again ... which isn't easy, I'm sure that many of you will agree that we have to be careful not to raise awkward questions on the home front. I contact her on Friday asking if she's available on Sunday and once again get a very nice response saying that she is available. On Sunday morning I scramble to carefully get off an email while still in the house to remind her of our appointment, but instead I find that I already have a nicely worded email saying that she is sorry but she has to cancel, but she hopes to see me soon.

Arranging things to get out of the house on my own for a big enough block of time to have a nice time is not easy and cannot be done too often. Again, I understand that things happen, but two weeks in a row? We see website declarations and periodically see forum discussions about providers informing customers that they will not be able to get future appointments if they no show or short cancel; well, my time is valuable too. Granted, it's not exactly the same situation, it's not a loss of income to me if a provider no shows on me, but it does impact me and it's hard not to take it personally.

The funny thing is I'm still very interested in seeing her, but I just don't think that I can try this one more time. I like her pictures, her personal description of what she offers and her reviews, but I'd feel like a complete schmuck if I tried one more time only to have it unravel again. I hate to admit this, but I tried to see an independent massage provider in Fairfax three times this summer and got blown off (not in a good way) all three times with plausible excuses each time; but, really, three appointments? And she is still sending me emails asking me whether I would like to schedule a session. Do some providers just have no idea or no concern for the effort that can be involved with participating in this hobby from our end of things? I've met a lot of very nice ladies and had a lot of very nice experiences, but when I encounter some of these behaviors it just leaves me puzzled.

TER should allow these types of no-show reviews.  It's as important as anything else.  I think they may allow them.  Try it because it helps others
