You're fighting an uphill battle in a popular culture that wont say the President lied, instead we soften, I mean we make excuses. Such as he's misinformed, he's incorrect, he miss-spoke, he miss-stated the fact of the situation. After all we've only taught an entire two  generations, forth rightness is a joke.

But that's just the way I see it and I'm a dinosaur apparently.

I don't see any issue with saying things as I see them...regardless you support the person or not...

.......so I will jump in today, and today only with this little anecdote.  

My big ass dog took a big ass shit right in front of a neighbor's Obama sign yesterday.  I had provisions to clean it up.  I left it there.

Umm, OK, sorry, I'll return all those tools I've borrowed from you when you weren't looking hahaha

Me: "What's wrong? It seems like something's bothering you"
Her: "Nothing" (said with obvious unhappy tone and body language)
Me: "Are you mad?"
Her: "I'm not mad, I'm just upset"

If I had a nickel for every time that kind of thing has gone on. As if changing the phrasing takes away from the central point. So now I say it differently:

Me: "Are you feeling some sort of negative emotion that could be disdain, anger, disappointment, sorrow, or some variant mid-range emotion of the aforementioned list?"

It doesn't go over any better.

I know you started this as a political commentary, but I hit my limit on that topic about 3 months ago.

It would have been quite a sight...seeing both of you make a complete ass out of yourselves...
