We are seeing a surge in HIV cases now all across the US. If you go to other hobby boards you will see the number of post increasing the last 2 years of guys catching an STD from a provider. When you read the reviews you will see folks doing bbfs greek.
I’ve been seeing it all over the news. Several agencies are even encouraging it (ones with Asian ladies) I’ve fired a few ladies who were openly offering it (one of which is even asking for a recent test on the buzz board) . But we already participate in a risky hobby. Why even make it more complicated. The effects of being infected not only heighten the risks of this hobby but why bring it home to your spouse, and gf? There have been a ton of advancements in the last 5 year on STI protection and it seems most people don't know about which is a shame.
PReP- either a pill everyday or a new option of a shot every 6 months, takes the chances of getting HIV down to near zero. It's been shown to be more effective against HIV than typical condom use.
Doxy PReP- 1 pill 72 hours after high-risk sex reduces chance of getting Chlamydia and Syphilis by about 90% and gonorrhea by over 50%.
HPV Vaccine - 99% effective on the HPV strains that cause warts and genital cancers.
Hepatitis A & B Vaccines- 95% effective on preventing hepatitis.
So what's left? Herpes, and Hepatitis C. Hep C is rarely transmitted through sex and is easily curable. There is a decent treatment for Herpes but no cure and no way to prevent it, even condoms don't offer full protection against it. There is a new treatment on the horizon which will probably hit market around 2027 that might (emphasize MIGHT) even work as a preventative.
So everyone needs to educate themselves and decide what level of risk is right for them. But there is literally ZERO reason anyone should be getting HIV these days.

The answer is YES. I was wondering the same thing when I saw ladies posting BBFS . I am just returning to the community I have to tell you I will never be able to compete with that kind of risky behavior. BTW there is no test for men for HPV and there are 100 strains, better get vaccinated . I had a TER/P411 gentleman ask me if I would engage in BBFS I was shocked, of course I declined. I never offer myself first BBFS. I always prioritize protection unless it's requested. I respect everyone’s boundaries and safety. As @debsoc said earlier: you cannot get STDs simply just by being in the same room with someone — that’s what protection is for. I take excellent care of my health, get tested before every trip, and I am on PrEP.

I take prep and have Doxy on hand, I was told not to take Doxy regularly. I’ll have to read more into that. I think we all should have it whether bbfs or not!

Didn’t know they combine doxycycline with Prep. The reason you don’t take doxycycline that often is one of the most powerful and effective antibiotics. You don’t want to become resistant to it by taking it too much (always finish your cycle if you have been prescribed it). That’s why I find it odd that there would be a combo drug…..becoming resistant to it would be bad….

If you ask a provider directly, and they get any indication you dont want to see them because of it, then they will just say no.
But im curious, why not see a provider just because they offer bbfs? There isnt really any additional risk involved as long as you arent going bbfs with them. If they perform bbbj on you, or tongue kissing, the risk factor is exactly the same whether they performed bbfs or not. The only thing i would think could be more risky, is DATY. Maybe daty would have more risks involved if your doing it to a provider who goes bbfs with lots of dudes compared to a provider who only goes bbfs with one guy or nobody. So at worst if you suspect a provider is doing bbfs, just dont daty or dato her?
DATO has risks no matter what because of the potential fecal bacteria.
Also times have changed. The ease of antibiotics and Prep is why so many more providers are open to bbfs.
Beyond that, they obviously still do a visual examination before going bbfs. So that combo of visual examination plus antibiotics plus prep, makes things much safer. Im guessing all these bbfs high volume ladies are using prep and antibiotics.
The only issue is herpes, but even pornstars arent tested for herpes and many assume that most of the pornstars already have it. Also even my doctor claimed herpes is a non factor if you dont see visible sores. We were discussing bbfs, bbbj and daty, and his response was he doesnt think herpes is relevant because people wont do those things if they see visible sores

Providers today now have to explicitly post on bbfs or bb in their ads. It's extremely dangerous now. If you go to another hobby board std outbreaks are a major occurrence. In Maryland certain parts are bbfs zones (northern Howard county up until and including Baltimore). There is some going on in pg county, a few years ago there was a major outbreak and the majority of providers are posting no daty, no bbfs, no gfe.
