I recently had a session with a girl who was lodging at one of these what I call a Motor Inn (in Florida). Kind of a low budget hotel where you drive up to the door, take the outdoor stairs to the second floor and enter from the outside. Well, at least parking is free. Then again the thought of  LE watching the Johns go in and out every hour of the same room can lead to performance anxiety while there. Then again I have seen girls at the Ritz where I can have my car valet parked and go await the room text at the lounge over a drink.  

What difference does the quality of hotel make? If any?  

For what it is worth, I will give my opinion n this topic. I just can not understand why a provider would pay so much more to stay at a 4 star place when a corporate place like Holiday Inn, Hilton, Marriott all offer pretty much the same without high price. I am not going to overpay for a session with an average girl because she is in a High end hotel. Heck, just as long as it is clean, easy to access and has a big lobby where I can slip in and out totally unnoticed is all that is required.

.... I like getting the best I possibly can (preferably 3* or better) for 100/night or less which is normally very doable.

...four/five star hotel for your benefit?  

   Personally, I like the amenities that a higher end hotel has to offer.  I enjoy fine dining, great room service, comfortable beds, fluffy towels, a spa with a well equipped gym, etc.  I also enjoy the perks that come with being "brand loyal".  

   I agree that there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Holiday Inn  suite, or another three star property.  I have stayed in my share; especially when visiting a smaller town.

   I do not enteratin more than a few gentlemen per day when traveling, andI like to treat myself to a massage, followed by room service, etc when on the road.

For me, it's the expectations of who I am seeing. If I'm paying $400 and up, I would like to visit a provider at a 4 star hotel. If I'm seeing a $20 backpage girl, then it is expected that she will be staying at a motel 6. The 4 star hotels are very discreet, convenient, and have a lot of resources while the motel 6 or a low budget motel is the opposite.

I too feel uneasy if a provider is staying at a low budget motel because more than likely, the doors are outside, less security cameras, and the environment attracts the crowds that I do not like. For example, you may have pimps walking around the area, cops doing surveillance, the showers make all sorts of noises when turning the hot water on, and people of no class just hanging around outside doing who knows what.

I prefer a higher end hotel because of the professional crowds, the discretion it provides, and the amenities it has. Some higher end hotels are like mini malls, with plenty of stores, restaurants, large lobbies, and all of the amenities you can possibly want. I also like enjoy looking at the building itself, some higher end hotels are very beautiful to look at.

When it comes down to it, I make sure she has great reviews first. The quality of the hotels are not a major concern as long as it fits the fee. For example, I don't mind going to a Holiday Inn if the fee the provider charge is $400. She does not have to stay at a more expensive brand hotel. However, I do mind if I'm paying $400 and she's staying at a motel 6. I do not like to put myself into those types of situations (the crowds, the LE, and pimps). The more upscale a hotel is, then the less likely it is to attract those kinds of negativity.

No one staying in a low budget motel, is going to give a quality experience. Just the atmosphere alone is going to be less then pleasant. It doesn't have to be The Ritz, but a kept up and clean atmosphere will matter to a quality lady. You and your experience will matter to her.

Well, I was just looking at it from the hobbyist/business standpoint and totally overlooked the low vol provider as well as the practical value of a luxury property.  Thx for your and MsMocha's replies.

Also, I only get a place of I'm entertaining in advance, so you are the only person having an experience that day/week or month. I'm very part time, but I want a higher end place for my comfort and yours.

I totally get what the providers are saying about having their own reasons to stay in nice places and that's all good.  for me, the key is safety -- I can not stand the places where you drive up to the room and enter the room from an outside hallway, as the OP listed.  The whole world can see.  Also, some very upscale places have huge inner atriums and everyone can see from the lobby who is going in and out of which room.  I think it's just dumb -- asking for trouble -- to be in one of those places.  Otherwise, as far as my needs/preferences, as long as the bed is half-decent and the place doesn't smell of smoke, I am fine.

As a customer, I prefer a location that has a large lobby (better to blend), easy parking, high traffic (again, better to blend), non-exterior facing doors and not Embassy Suites.

Minimum quality is a Holiday Inn Express.  If I wanted Red Roof Inn or pay by the hour, I'd go to B'more and pick up a street girl or visit a BP girl.  

While you may not "need" the higher quality, its reflective of how the provider does business.  If you take care of the little details, the big details take care of themselves.  For example, I have never had an issue with a provider and down there 'hygiene' issue.

I forgot about this when I booked an outcall at the one in Chevy Chase lol. I was standing in line to check in and saw some people I knew eating at the restaurant next door too. When my lady friend arrived I apologized for not realizing the layout of the hotel.

I normally book a four star in DC on the weekends a few weeks out and get a good deal.

When spending time with one of DC's finest, I want to spend time with her in an environment that I feel comfortable in. When I travel to "big cities" like DC, I stay in 4+ star hotels whenever possible simply because I prefer them for my own creature comforts. I can appreciate that a provider would want the same. Further, I dress up for my dates...because it is a date, after all. I don't show up in shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. Even when I'm hosting, I make sure I'm dressed business casual at the worst. I don't want to show up at a 2-3 star hotel or worse, a motel, feeling over dressed and out of place.

I dont go for higher star hotels for the simple fact that they have cameras EVERYWHERE and they WATCH EVERYTHING!!
I dont like being Welcomed and Greeted 2-3 times before I make it to the elevator! I choose hotels that I am familiar with, that are clean and safe for myself and Gents. I dont like hotels on main streets where everyone can see people pulling into the lobby either. I guess its years in the business... I stay at hotel where work crews and companies place people. They are use to seeing men coming and going all the time. I dont need the fancy decor or nosey housekeppers.

Always La Quinta Inn, Econolodge, or Red Roof Inn because I drive to Southern Florida at least once a month. After about 10+ hours of driving I need a nap and there is no point in paying twice as much at the Hyatt or Marriott for a few hours of sleep and a shower. Then its the Waffle House and back on 95 because time is of the essence.
