Question for the ladies

Have you ever turned down a client because he is way too critical of the providers in his reviews? I recently saw a girl who was very upset that one of her regulars gave her a 7-7. Not that 7-7 is a bad score but because he spent almost the entire review focusing on her flaws and barely even mentioned any positives.

why, because someone who reviews like that I see as someone who is very jaded.
They aren't there to enjoy the experience they are more interested in picking it a part.
I find someone like this very difficult to please. I don't usually have an issue like this but I do read the reviews of those I plan to see and if they seem to be more interested in being negative in general why would I put myself through that?
I like being around possative ppl. I don't see someone like this as a good fit personality wise.

...having said that I recently came in touch with a provider who is intolerant of any rating less than 9, even when the text of the review was not critical of her....

No, I would not take someones reviews of others to judge my experience with them. I Don't even read what they have to say about other ladies, I don't care. When other friends look you up based on his review, if what he said was somewhat off base, others will see that.

1. I am not the other lady and don't provide her services. I am an individual with individual likes, opinions and ways, maybe he was not totally satisfied with them, maybe with no-one, however, it is still his experience that he details.

2. Is what he said true? Although sevens across the board is not the greatest, It also is not the worst and he is entitled to his opinion. Especially if he didn't lie, which I don't see you said.

3. If you only hear how great you are, how do you improve on your flaws? Yes it does sting when we think we are the best to find out that we are just average to someone else but again everyone has an asshole. So why should it bother you? Bad reviews are one thing but someones true opinion is another.

Last, if you only seek clients from those who will write stellar reviews, (do you ask um before you visit) are you not stacking the chips in your favor? Is that not like deleting all the bad opinions and lying to others? Does that not have a grandiose impression of ones self? I think we should be grateful friends even take the time to write reviews, of course we would prefer great accolades all the time but in reality we are all flawed in many ways, when we put ourselves out to the world as almost perfection, there will be those who feel it necessary to point out where we are not. Such as life, I say prove him to be incorrect. Be his first great experience if you think you really are that great. Don't run from it.

Again not trying to start trouble, I just feel a bit different than some other ladies do. I love a challenge sooooo.

Very insightful and articulate thoughts.

They say a lot about you as a person I think.

Well, I can understand that there is No One, who can be Everybody's "type". Inevitably, we ALL
(P & H)come across someone we just don't click with. However, when a reviewer's standards are set at goddess level, and he's given nothing higher than 7's on a long score sheet, I'm under the impression that he's impossible to please. I like to enjoy our time together, as opposed to feeling pressure like I'm on an audition. ..just my opinion.
