How do you feel about a providers who text.  It's usually during recover time or near the end of the appointment.  Do you expect to have her undivided attention, since your on the clock or it doesn't bother you in the least?

I wouldn't like that at all. If I'm paying for your time, then your time should be spent with me, not your phone.

You should wait to do other business after the current business is complete.

Here's the definition of a bad provider.

When you say "near the end of the appointment", I don't know how near you meant.

I prefer that she text before I was gone but sometimes a provider informs her friend that she's done. Sometimes, while it looks like texting, she forwards her calls to her friend before the appointment and unforwards it when she's done.

Or perhaps she records your, you know, size in her phone before she forgets. :)

I agree with db.  Texting during your time together is a bit rude and is certainly inattentive.  I guess the only exception to that might be e.g., you are dressing, showering, whatever and the attention is already divided at that point.  But whenever you are together and your time needn't be interrupted, it shouldn't be.  My 2 cents...

that all electronic devices will be in the "off" position while we are in flight. If she uses one to phone or text, or if it even rings while we're together, my decision will be made instantly to never call her again.

With deference to some providers who have children and the need to be reachable by a school (for example) in case of an emergency.... However beyond any "reasonable & rational" happenstance, it is grossly unprofessional. It's your quarter and every professional consideration should be made.

Sincerely

I would not want her texting when I am there.

At the start or the end is ok, but during the session is unacceptable.  I've had a few providers do that, and I will not go back to see them again.  When paying a premium price for a service, I expect premium service, including the providers undivided attention during the session.

You can't say you remember to turn it off and on every single time you should have!
It does have a button to stop the ringing if it does go off.

This isn't of matter of forgetting to turn off her ringer. She is addicted texting and has no problem admitting.  I personally don't care. I just wanted to know how others felt about it.

Texting during the session is inattentiveness; and inattentiveness is not good GFE.

No one keeps their phone off every time it should be.

I don't stay over my time... as long as I am not (ahem) "encouraged" to do so, which has only happened once (10 minutes over in a 90 minute session).

Many phones, including mine, allow me to set the ring mode to vibrate for a defined period of time.

After the final call, and when I am walking up, I am clearing all calls and text messages, and then setting the ringer to vibe or meeting.

That's pretty harsh IMHO.

If the phone is going off constantly or she is answering voice calls mid-session that is one thing...but if it vibrates even once, you will never see the lady again?

So what happens when your phone rings mid-session?

One time, when we were in bed talking, she answered the last of her several calls. She gave poor directions to the guy, so I offered to talk to him.

I would repeat with her again and again because she's hot. Unfortunately she disappeared from the scene.

both the provider and hobbiest's phone should be shut off during your date. There's no reason for me to explain why, it's just common courtesy and good business/pleasure sense.

I believe providers phone should be off but client may need his. If his wife or work calls, I discretely disappear into the bathroom for a minute.
