I received a call yesterday from 415-656-1073. The guy was stuttering and acting abnormal.  He asked for Charlie Jean, which as you know ...is my name, and I told him it was me, and he asked me if I had any availability...then he told me that a friend gave him my number.  I asked him who his friend was and he said "Jim"....I asked him what does "Jim" do for a living and he said he was a a a a a"lawyer"...I told him I didn't know any Jim and then I told him to have "Jim" send me an email describing our encounter...well the email never came. I do not ever recall seeing a "Jim" who is a lawyer. For you who know me, I keep my selection of "friends" at a complete minimum. He kept asking me for my email address and information ...and ofcourse I told him to ask "Jim".  Anyways, I decided to do a little research and I put the phone number into my Internet Brower, and it came up with a link

I hit the link and it brought me to a discussion board of weird phone calls.  If you scroll down, you will see that many people have received phone calls from that same number! This guy new my name and it seems that he didn't get me off of TER.  He didn't know my email or my rates. I do not advertise anywhere else.  So becareful if you get a phone call from this guy.  I don't know who he is. On the discussion board that I reviewed from the attached link, it seems that the number is a payphone in California, but I do not believe that.

God why do all these weird things have to happen to me!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this.. Just for future reference...Please do not call me from any fake numbers or calling cards.  It freaks me out and then I end up taking a 5 month break because of it.

...I keep getting these annoying phone calls from a crazy women claiming to be my wife. Worse, she has somehow managed to get a fake number on my caller id so it appears she's calling from my home phone. Luckily, I'm no fool -- I always just hang up on her.

Well CJ, if you would answer and/or reply to the phone calls from people you DO know (like me), maybe you wouldn't feel you have to deal with all this shit....:}  Ya' know, you REALLY DO have to email or call sometime, sweetie.
