It just occurred to me that there should also be a review for providers to rate their clients (whose anonymity would be protected just as the providers' is now). When I look at it from the provider's perspective--why should they have to put up with some of the BS which they probably experience (given the number of different clients they have)? Wouldn't that help them to choose better clients?

Would any providers like to comment on this?

As a client, I whole-heartedly support such an idea. It could be provider only to help support their screening. The danger's of this setup would be similar to our system (if hobbyists can't see the review). Kinda reminds me of the Carmen-Lancer debacle.

Isn't that what the White List is for?

I have enough issues in my life to deal with. If I could read what women really think of me, I and many other guys on here would have serious self esteem issues. I know how hard some of the ladies take it, when they read there own reviews. Some of them are quite harsh. I know of one lady that had to hire a personal trainer, because several of her reviews said she was larger than she used to be. Hints like "She is not fat, but not skinny either", had her in tears. I thought she looked just right. Having worked in customer service for Toyota, I got to hear how ugly and mean people can be. How some use there venomous words to get a future discount or freebie, even if it is not warranted.

unlike hobbyists who do not have to compete with one another for provider interest.

This is a different dynamic which would cause distortions in any "hobbyist review" site

As it is providers can leave comments on a gents date check or p411 profile, can post about problems with gents on the PO board or on various other sites, can communicate with one another back channel and can post on various DNS sites.

either directly or at least as mediated by the providers.

the phenomenon of getting outbid for a confirmed appointment slot or having one's confirmed appointment used as a means of extracting a better engagement from a different hobbyist is not unknown.

many cancellations are not about a "family emergency" but rather a better deal.

still trying to avoid getting jaded and cynical... but...

But if a provider will play that game and cancel because of a better offer for the time, I think it will catch up to her eventually.

I can understand if she wants to reschedule because someone comes along who wants an overnight or really extended date and cannot do it on another day.

But I for one have miniscule tolerance for a pattern of cancellations.  If I come to feel that I am being jerked around or otherwise unappreciated I move on.

Life's too short lol

to let this sort of nonesense interfere with the sweetness of the remaining time.

so i won't. just need awareness that it does happen even when us clients are unaware....
