Even if someone does accept CC, offering escort service is not illegal. Yes, you would have hard time explaining the charges to SO, but I don't think many people with SO would be using CC to see a provider in the first place.

I agree. A VERY BAD idea. Many years ago, I used a credit card once (horny, no cash and the little head took over, you know). A few days later, I got a call from a DC cop one day "inviting" me downtown since they had busted the girl and came across all my information. No fun. Never again. Don't worry dude. I hear ya. There are lot that accept. Why were you asking anyway? Just out of curiosity or do you want to use CC to pay a provider? I should also add that there are a lot of providers who you will miss out on if you want to pay just with your CC because most DON'T accept it.

I don't see a benefit to paying with a CC. Unless it's a corporate card from your employer, or your trying to write it off as a business expense.
