You are better off just getting a cash advance IMHO.  Of course if you are not married and do not need to worry about every gaining security clearance and don't want to ever run for govt.  ....  

Yeah that's a very good idea so the provider will have your real name and all your personal information and better yet the evidence is the receipt

Actually, i have seen some providers on Eros offer CC. They seem to be traveling porn stars (at least as advertised). I'm just new....give me a break. Sheesh guys.

DC-Simone used to accept them. She doesn't anymore. I have seen her, but paid cash.

Even if someone does accept CC, offering escort service is not illegal. Yes, you would have hard time explaining the charges to SO, but I don't think many people with SO would be using CC to see a provider in the first place.

Don't worry dude. I hear ya. There are lot that accept. Why were you asking anyway? Just out of curiosity or do you want to use CC to pay a provider? I should also add that there are a lot of providers who you will miss out on if you want to pay just with your CC because most DON'T accept it.

I don't see a benefit to paying with a CC. Unless it's a corporate card from your employer, or your trying to write it off as a business expense.

It's amazing how only one or two of the responses offered the OP any type of assistance (so I'm sure he won't mind if I pile on with a non-answer)!  Those of you with such strong opinions against using CCs, you have no idea what the OP's situation is.  There are instances where using a CC for an appointment with a provider is optimal, but he shouldn't be forced to explain himself to get a simple answer.  

This happens too often on the forum.  Instead of just refraining from comment when we don't have the answer, people pile on with their unsolicited opinions and turn a simple request for info into an adversarial thread.  That's not how this should work, and it takes away from the value of a forum like this.  If you don't know the answer, it's OK to just move on, people.

They are sharing with you some of the risks associated with the use of a CC and why those risks likely outweigh the convenience involved.

there area lot of risks in this hobby.  Only you can decide what risks you feel comfortable taking but what others can do for you is explain some of those risks.

Your mention that provider will have real name and info ... since so many, in their screening, require just that, along with mother's social security number , etc.

my screening is so simple just tell me ter handle (white-list) is a plus ... date-check or P411 handle or two references and that's it !

I agree. A VERY BAD idea. Many years ago, I used a credit card once (horny, no cash and the little head took over, you know). A few days later, I got a call from a DC cop one day "inviting" me downtown since they had busted the girl and came across all my information. No fun. Never again. There are just something you use cash for.

Many of you gladly give your real name, trackable cell # and professional work tel # to providers web sites.  Do you realize that web site is essentially public info. Accessible by any hacker and that the info is digital and can be sent to anyone.
