7 and 8's are nothing to sneeze at.  My thinking on the matter is that a true "10" is something you're not going to find in the $$-$$$ range where most of us do our hobbying, the 10's out there are probably getting at least $1K a throw.  So right off the bat, realistically, the top score for looks is going to be a "9" and those are going to be extremely rare.  So far I have seen exactly one "9" in the last year of hobbying.  The provider was smoking hot, but not "once in a lifetime"; I've had girlfriends that were just as good looking.  So when I rate a provider as an "8", that means she's in the upper echelon of providers and very good looking and one rated a "7" is still above average in looks.
