What is the one thing that sums up DC for you?

I lived in Annapolis and DC (13th and G!) for about 6 years back in the day and a post on the GD board about the metro brought back all kinds of memories. But I have to say this, to me, represents DC in my head:

Is the main thing....just a stupid hype machine with no substance. Always riding past glory...make steelers fans look sane.

When did Annapolis the 410 ever become a DC suburb? Sorry...nap town is the b-more suburbs

I hate DC (nitwit government as others have said) and I hate the Redskins - not the team, but the Napolean-like owner. So, I'm happy to stay out here in the MD and Va suburbs.

All football team fanatics are idiotic.

It is pathetic to see team flags whopping in the wind on SUVs. Don't they know that that is not their team. It is owned by billionaires who can pick up and move any time, and you would be left with nothing? Except for the Packers, you cannot call the team your team

I hate DC (nitwit government as others have said) and I hate the Redskins - not the team, but the Napolean-like owner. So, I'm happy to stay out here in the MD and Va suburbs.

The other puzzlement even tho I understand Redskins didn't want black players at one point so I get it...but 1/2 da city is still Cowboys fans and never stepped foot in Texas, lol.
