My honorarium goes down with amount of time. I will be in DC tomorrow and am offering a tour special.....a 3 hour date is less then a 2 hr date here at home in NYC! And my 1.5 hr honorarium is my normal 1hr honorarium. So check me out and I look forward to hearing from a few of you. ~LuLu

I'm just one opinion of course, but I would like to suggest that some providers would have more dollars in there pockets and more happy clients by offering better discounts for 1.5-3 hour sessions.  I've noticed several providers in Vegas have done this, and while I don't know for sure how it has turned out, it sure did get me to spend my full budget and be very satisfied, more than would be possible in an hour.  Of course I did spend more time with the provider who offered a multi-hour discount and therefore the provider had less time available for other clients who would presumably pay more.   But while the extra time with me was at a discount, my feeling is that, at least for low volume indie providers, my extended session would not necessarily result in the provider reducing the number of clients that she sees.  Therefore, I suggest that certain discounts for the right provider will increase revenue without increasing volume or scheduling/screening hassles.  For example, there is a lady locally whose donation is 350/hr and 440/1.5 hrs.  In my opinion, 350 is on the high side for what I'm willing to donate, but 440 for 1.5 seems like a good value for this provider (both relative to the local market and relative to her 1hr rate).  Now while I personally like 90 minute sessions, I normally go for 1 hr sessions because I tend to get better value out of those. However, back to my example, perhaps you can see why, all else being equal, I would pick the 90 min session for 440 every time I see that provider.  So in the end, this provider being very smart In that she is extracting more $ out of me without necessarily sacrificing much more on her end.  Plus, since I tend to enjoy longer sessions, my reviews tend to be best for providers I see in those circumstances, which I think is an added marketing bonus for the provider.

I agree that discounts for times beyond 60 minutes would seem to benefit both providers and hobbyists.  I see some rates that are the same per hour for at least the first few hours, some with discounts, and some with disincentives.

A common example is 60 minutes for $300, 90 minutes for $450, and 120 minutes for $600.  I prefer 90 minute sessions and might choose either 60 or 90 at those rates.  Basically each half hour costs the same, $150.

If the rates are $300, $400, and $500, I'd almost certainly choose at least 90 minutes.  I've seen some that are $300, $500, and $600.  The first additional half hour costs $200, which is an hourly rate of $400.  I would not go for 90 minutes with that pricing.  Maybe there is a preference for rates in hundreds, but charging more per hour for additional time will not make for longer sessions.

A provider in another city just raised her rates by $100, but with $400, $500, and $600 for the 3 durations noted above,  I have not lost interest because the extra 30-60 minutes are a bargain.

I'd like to add that personally when an escort charges 300/hr and 450/1.5 hrs, I will generally take the hour. But on the rare occasions that a provider gives a discount--say 400/1.5 hrs. I will always take it. I know that $50 may seem insignificant to most of you, but what with the saturated market I agree that escorts should consider giving discounts for over an hour.

in my opinion there are many providers that offer packages discount
and many of us were 20-30 extra minutes with our clients, there are 4 provedoras friends of mine that they do and offer a first class service...   We have a high reputation in the area, and for that reason we are always Busy ... what better gift, you pay 90 minutes, and receive 20 or 30 minutes free!
Att: the cucus Clan, of DC (Angelina , Laura ,  Melonie , Nikoletta  and Gabriela)  BTW : We all have different prices!
Sorry , but First class

You make a very good point, Nikoletta, especially in terms of certain providers offering extra time to many of their clients.  And thank you for mentioning some specific providers who are strong in this area.   I find that while I would generally like to stay longer with a provider, I tend to leave at my scheduled time out of respect for the provider's time, plus I would tend to feel impolite in asking if I could stay longer.  Am I being too polite?  Perhaps I've been unlucky or am an unpleasant client (I hope not!), but Ive never had a provider actually offer for me to stay for extra time (although it has happened without discussion on occasion).  How would you suggest that I better handle such a situation?

It depends on what the lady wants. If she prefers volume, then keeping the rates consistent across the time is the right thing to do. If she prefers to spend more time with individual clients, then she should offer discounts for multiple hours. I recently saw a lady who offered $250 for one hour and $550 for two. I still saw her for two hours, because that it was I wanted. And she stayed for quite a bit longer. She did admit that the $550 was a typo, but since that was her advertised rate, that is what she got. I was happy with the services provided and felt I had good value.

I probably shouldn't write this, but one secret is to schedule a lady for late in the evening say 7 or 8 pm. She probably won't have another appointment later that evening and if she is having a good time, she won't mind going over on time. Part of this is to make sure she is having a good time. Since I have to work during the day, I naturally have to schedule later in the evening and have discovered this wonderful secret about most ladies. It doesn't always work, but 9 times out of 10 it does. It has turned into an overnight in more than one occasion

YOU want the discount.lol

I have a choice of two providers that I currently see.One charges $300, the other $450. (per hr.)

I'm planning on a trip soon (which would end up being a 12-24 hr. date)

Which one will I ask?

The one with the lower rate.I get better value.

Providers know sometimes they lose business with the rate they charge. I don't feel the need to ask them to discount since I can just see someone else.

I have thought this before but to be honest I have been very lucky with ladies having been relaxed and non-rush for short time overages if they don't have a client immediately scheduled. I prefer two hours sessions I and like to relax and get to know the person a bit and feel comfortable.

All I know is I made my living as a computer consultant, an independent professional. I never gave any rate discounts no matter how many hours I worked. I would cut down hours if I felt that I wasn't totally productive which can happen if you are working a lot of hours or if I chit chatted too much with the employees. I took pride in my work and wanted to deliver quality hours.

I look at the ladies as independent professionals and don't think they need to give people discounts. I can see the case if you are a real regular client that a lady might chose to do so but that is her decision.

I find that I get very good value for the dollar. They are after all doing this as a business and not because I am God's gift to women, personally, I m far from it, and I have been treated exceptionally well, imho.

I still think your point is well made.

But I haven't had any bad experiences and do not consider myself a serious hobbyist but an occasional one only.
