Because if it was $300 or whatever bargain basement rate they're charging these days, then yea, you probably should have expected that. But from what I've seen around here, motherfuckers aren't exactly wowed at how agencies operate either, so don't always expect that to work out either. You've probably just been getting lucky.

Just before things were locked down here, I inquired for screening with a lady who piqued my interest. I filled out her booking form, contacted via email. Provided references and any other screening info she asked for ( which wasn't invasive). At that time, she was headed out of the area, but told me she would return early this month. I told her I would contact then to book. To my word, I sent an email asking about her return last week. I got a reply with the days she would be available... asked for an appointment, was given the ok, and that she was looking forward to the meet. Confirmed 2 days ago.... still good. One more email after 3 pm this afternoon ( day of ) ...nothing in response. The flake bullshit is why I haven't ventured far from agencies. At least with them.....you book, you go, you leave happy. Better than building up hopes in meeting someone just to get ghosted.
I won't say in open forum, and since I'm no longer VIP, I can't back channel it either.
Was just pissed off and venting. She wasn't a high end lady. But she had appeal to me. Just irritating since she was the only new lady I've contacted in quite some time, and got the exact shit show business model that halted my further exploration in the 1st place. I'll just stay with what and whom I can depend on.
Just so you know, us ladies deal with the same problem. In many cases, we lose money due to the to this. I just saying, it happens to all of us unfortunately. However, some of us are more reputable.
I know it does happen, but I can only be responsible for myself. I don't make appointments unless I intend to follow through. And once I book....that takes precedence over anything short of death.
I had one occasion where I screened with a provider, and while waiting for schedules to align, I found out that our personalities would not gel...
So I never booked. I almost went through with it anyway, but I knew with no uncertainty that it would be a miss. But that's the only instance I've ever not followed through entirely. Once again....I never made an appointment. Only screened.
I don't deal with low end providers, because of the flakiness and deceptive practices. Given the rate and demeanor of this particular provider.... I didn't expect this to happen. But it did, and a full day later, I've heard nothing in the way of explanation nor apology.
So it was definitely not a " something happened" deal.

Thanks. Its really not that big of a deal, but I was pretty irritated by it that day. Prior to that day, she had shown a friendly demeanor, and seemed like a responsible person. Live and learn....but I'm past it now. I don't do second chances, just as I would never expect a provider to give me one if I did something of the sort....
But since I was never given an address, I had nothing invested than a few emails and a little hopefulness. So I guess " blown off" would be a more fitting description than stood up.
