There are a bunch of scammers posting ads on eros and tryst in DC/Virginia.  I have noticed many of them are coming from places like Seattle, Vegas, Dallas, and sometimes California.  In some cases they dont have reviews on TER, but there are comments elsewhere or on places like Mr. Number.   There’s one provider coming from Vegas who clearly has a gangster looking pimp on her social media.  No reviews of her besides some reddit comments a couple years back when the escort subreddit was still up.  
What can be done regarding providers like this? You cant post a review on them if you haven’t personally seen them, but is there another way to raise awareness on them so people dont fall for them? I dont think most people know about Mr. Number for instance. From my understanding it was a secret that providers use to leave comments on clients.  Although i have seen clients also using it to leave positive or negative reviews on providers.  

 
Another thing, what about situations where a provider isnt an outright scammer, but just provides poor, non gfe service, and then joins TER just to delist herself and remove all the reviews mentioning the poor service. You can no longer post anything public on those providers at all?  It seems it would really help them since no reviews are better for business than a bunch of poor reviews.

To answer your question from my perspective. TER is one of many sources you can use for researching. TER is based on the reviews submitted and the discussion boards it has. You can ask on the local board about a provider to see is anyone has any information for you. If the person has no reviews on TER you can do what many do: just take her off you list of potential providers.

There seem to be a lot of ads on Tryst where the provider has a low price and wants a 50% or even 100% deposit, which is crazy.

You are legit.  Some may be willing to fork over the whole donation because they know you are the real deal.  Just sayin.

There are tons of scammers in the business locally and everywhere.  it is the nature of the game.
I  follow three simple rules to avoid the worst:
1: Only see providers with legit reviews (or legit agencies)
2: Dont provide more personal info than you are comfortable with for screening.
3: NEVER SEND MONEY DEPOSIT
Most scammers are just after the deposit.  
Sub-par providers can be avoided by reading reviews.

Theres a particular scam that a lot of west coast and dallas girls are running. Im assuming they have some forum they gather on and share this strategy or the strippers out there use this as a strategy.
The thing is its only happened personally to me, twice.  But i have read reviews and comments of certain providers on Mr.Number where the same strategy was mentioned.

The common factors ive noticed with providers who do this, they often have no reviews, but may have comments left on Mr.Number.  They are from seattle, Dallas, Or Vegas.  They are often strippers in their home state.  

The strategy, is they will quote you an hourly rate to see them. Usually $400-$500 an hour.  You get to the hotel, hand over the donation, and after the provider puts away the donation, she is only willing to provide a CBJ, and says if you want full service its an extra $100 or $200 or in some cases double the fee you just paid.  Obviously if you refuse to pay the additional funds, they will refuse to refund you as well.    

These girls usually post on eros or tryst.

The other strategy is the same, you hand over the hourly fee of $400-$500, then the girl will tell you a sob story of how she works for an agency, and half of the money goes to the agency, and then says she can only offer a handjob for the money you just gave her, and if you want full service its an extra $100 or $200 etc.  this one seattle girl was so ridiculous, she took $450 upfront, then did the upsell, except her upsell was an extra $200 for CFS, and if i wanted a BJ, it was a separate, additional $500 charge for a CBJ.  

these were unreviewed girls on eros who, were often dancers from their home states on the west coast and who often change around their phone numbers as well.  So you in most cases wont be able to see the comments about them because they were left under previous numbers.   For my own sake, I stick to only seeing girls from reliable agencies now, or girls who are well reviewed but also have recent good reviews within the last few months.  If that scam stuff happened to me again i think I would have to go for a good old KO.   Even if I read about someone else being scammed by a provider it seriously pisses me off.  

 
I know of one Vegas girl who actually had good, GFE reviews throughout 2022 and 2023, but her reviews this year have totally changed, although at least her ad also states no gfe now.  But it shows you, at any moment a provider can get into a relationship or get involved with a boyfriend pimp of some kind and start providing completely different service to what she used to.
