Knew her pretty well

Perhaps a tad of an odd... out of the blue question but perhaps some old timers might recall?

Several years back there was a provider in DC who went by the name "Summer Breeze"... (not sure of spelling) and she was a pretty well reviewed lady who was the unfortunate victim of foul play. It was discussed on here back then around (2002 or perhaps earlier)and I was just wondering if anyone knew if they caught the guy who did it? I was having a conversation with a fellow hobbiest and we were reminiscing about the old days when we both recalled the same event and neither one of us can remember!

I certainly hope they did, and if not I hope they do! If this is an off topic conversation that is not allowed then I apologize but was genuinely curious as to if there was any closure to that tragedy!

Thanks for your time and any information would be appreciated!

Still sad... Though I'm happy to see that she was not the victim of a violent crime!

Your assistance is much appreciated!

"In 2003 XXXXXXXXXX, 42, was found dead in her Georgetown home. News accounts say the $300-an-hour escort, who used the professional name Summer Breeze, operated without an agency and placed ads in magazines and on the Internet. Police initially believed a date might have killed her but later surmised that she fractured her skull in a fall inside her home while she was drunk. XXXXXX had liver problems associated with alcohol abuse. Howell's friends told the Washington Post that many women who do escort work turn to alcohol or drugs."

The name of the victim was already published in the Washingtonian. What is left to hide here? It's already out in the public.

Yes, it was sad and I remember it very well.  The cause was due to a fall and no foul play but still she was missed.

Peoples names are not allowed to be outed on this site if they are hobbyists or providers. If you want to post an article with names on it edit out the names and url and post the contents.

As a policy it doesn't hurt to protect the name of the provider. Considering that she passed away, we should be ever more careful about protecting her identity.
