It's all a balancing act

How big of a gap in reviews do you consider before deciding to take a pass on someone?  2 months, 6 months, doesn't matter?

Like most things, it's a balancing act for me. How much do I want to risk to see someone? What do the reviews say? Any hint of LE problems? Some providers take a hiatus every now and then...some meet an SO in civilian life, others go to school, etc. my general rule of thumb for absences that make me think twice is around 6 or so months unless there are other factors involved.

I myself have a gap in my reviews and it is explained on my website under FAQ. It's all up to you whether you want to see the lady or not. If her reviews are all positive regardless of the gap she's obviously a good provider. It could also mean that she is low volume

If there is good back channel intel on her.

I've seen ladies who had zero reviews, posts and were completely UTR...

Communication should be somewhat important if you are planning to visit this lady. If you are curious as to why there is a gap, just ask! IF she is current and wants your business, then your inquiry should be responded to. IF no one is writing her any new reviews, because her current clients are regulars, and you get the opportunity, then write a new one. IF you are searching old ads and her info seems out of date, then just don't bother.

Yes, some girls want pages of reviews and some girls don't. Yes, the guys are supposed to give back to the "community" and write reviews, and some don't. Guys will see girls in spite of not having recent reviews and still NOT write one! You can't always assume the worst. I can't twist someone's arm to get on his computer and blab on the board about how good of a BBBJCIMNQNS I gave him while I had a 10" dildo shoved up my ass last Thursday, so it just is what it is. I always say, IF I were truly that terrible of a provider, then someone should speak up so I can go away. LOL!

wouldn't you contact the person before deciding to take a pass? They might be able to offer some insight as to why they haven't received any reviews...

Oh reviews, funny how too many and some shy away, too few and people are wary. I've seldom asked for them nor even talk about them and it's a pleasant surprise to me when they show up. Whatever floats your boat.

They were reviewed by reputable gents before I met them, they see mostly (if not exclusively) regulars, and the need/desire/opportunity for frequent reviews isn't there. I find the ladies with this review pattern to be more "low key" and less stressed.

Ladies, how do you feel about guys who haven't submitted a review or been verified on a site recently (example: no recent okays on P411)?  Let's say I've taken a break from the hobby and am not sure if or when I will return.   Maybe 6 months down the road I decide to come back.  I won't have any recent references or reviews.  The previous ladies I've seen have probably forgotten me, and I only have old verifications.  Am I doomed to scour backpage to rebuild my credibility? or wait x amount of months for an oldie to revisit the area?

there are certain ladies with a long and excellent history, with few recent reviews, who are magnificent. I think review history and continuity matter much more for a new(er) provider.
