Wanted to get an idea, I am new to photography but would like to reach out and see if any providers would be interested in having pictures done. Or suggestions on how to start and build the clientele. I am not looking for any type of exchange in service just genuine photography.

Interesting post.  I've been a semi-professional photographer for some time now.  However, my focus is more landscape and macro photography.  That being said I always wanted to do portraits.  I've done a handful for professionals (business portfolio type work).  If anyone in the DC area (or coming to the DC area) would like new photos please message me and we can discuss further.
