Many men seem to enjoy erotic talk during a session as long as they are not the ones doing the talking. Is it because of social pressures and norms we follow in our civilian lives that creep into the bedroom that make it hard for you to express yourselves?

It is a fine line, which makes it exciting if you do it right. The risk of walking those words right up to the edge but not going too far is part of the thrill is it not? There are ways to do it while still being respectful. Listen to her if she is doing it and match but don't exceed her level. And NEVER use that "C" word with us. Never. Its ugly in any context and reserved for ugly situations.

So erotic talk serves as an expression of the moment you are in. If you can figure out when, where, and how to use it, it is very hot.

Good morning, Megan!

I think that an erotic experience, or any experience for that matter, that involves as many senses as possible is the most enjoyable.  As a cerebral person yourself, you know that the most important sex organ is the brain.  The sense of touch during an erotic encounter is obvious, though it can vary from gentle to rough.  I prefer a lighter, more loving touch, and, generally speaking, the more parts of our bodies that are touching, the better.  The sense of sight is obvious too, as watching my partner is very enjoyable and also stimulating.  That could include watching her beautiful eyes and sensual mouth as she approaches orgasm or watching her curvy butt, thin waist, and beautiful hair in doggy style.  The sense of smell might involve some nice, light perfume and/or a room fragrance (aromatherapy can be a very nice addition).  The sense of taste is stimulated during oral sex.  A woman's natural juices are quite wonderful.  The sense of hearing also adds to the effect.  This can take the form of nonverbal utterances such as sighs, moans, and heavy breathing.  It also can take the form of words, ranging from one word, such as "Yes!!!!," to much more.

I'm not sure that my preference is necessarily for my partner to be the (only) one engaged in erotic talk.  I like to do it too.  It could involve saying, "You make me ...," "I am going to ...," or "The next time, we'll ...."  Pushing the limits can be exciting, and it is easier to do verbally than in reality.  Thus, it becomes fantasy.  For example, I might say I'd love to take you in the ass, knowing that it is not going to happen, but thinking about it can be a turn-on.  Hearing erotic words from you adds to the erotic experience.

As you note, it is important not to go too far.  My interest is in erotic thoughts, not in being vulgar or degrading.  I find those to be turnoffs.  As for the "c word," I recently re-watched a Denzel Washington movie in which there is a dialogue between Christopher Plummer and Jodie Foster where she is called "a magnificent c___."  Even the second time around, I found it shocking.  That's not a word I use.  I'm sure that most women agree with you that it is offensive.

Thanks again for a little (mental) stimulation this morning.  Wish it were more.   :

Personally, i love it when my partner talks dirty to me and I get to return the favor. You know, tell me what you're going to do to me before you do it. Or tell me WHAT your doing to me AS your doing it. And, I get to reciprocate. So, my question is, "is the 'C' word totally off limits or only that you shouldn't use it as a pronoun for the woman you are currently doing?"  I think I've used it when my tongue or other body part is engaged in making use of the lady's luscious temple in question.  See my dilemma? Based on your responses, I will either mend my ways or continue the hot talk. Thanks.

"pussy" as a body part.

Just my opinion.

when one lady uses it in reference to another. And it's never used as a compliment either! :)

...in kind if the lady initiates it, but I do not consider it appropriate gentlemanly behavior to talk that way unless the woman indicates that she welcomes such talk.

I like erotic talk, if it's real.  Some people just spoon out lines though and you almost want to laugh.  I'd prefer real, non-erotic talk to fake erotic talk.
