The ladies who post in the ad must be willing to give TER members who mention the ad a discount. The amt is up to each lady advertising. It may be in the form of $ discount or it may be extended hours or increased services that usually they charge extra for. It can be limited to today, 48 hours or the first X number of callers. If you are limiting it please state limitations in the ad. If an agency wants to join in they can choose one lady to feature. The discount may be exclusive to her or they may make it company wide but can only feature one lady in the ad.
...called their "free ad every 7 days" lol....so this won't be happening on the Florida board. The ladies in Florida have every opportunity to market themselves in Florida w/their "1/week free ad" & "Theme Day Pics" we have everyday of the week, which is pretty much a free ad...
A lady can always ocasionally offer a "discount this week to TER hobbyist" on her free weekly ad as part of her marketing/business plan.
No disrespect to fugly on this in DC, he's doing a great job here & no complaints by me here either.....
....just not on the Florida board, I don't think we need a common policy, I'm for State Rights, lol!!!!

This is a new thing which may require some ladies to make slight tweaks to their marketing strategies (some ladies are strictly M-F, M-S, like the weekends, etc.). This may require a command decision on your part if there is no clear preference.
My guess is that if you just said that based on current ad posting history you picked (for example) Thursday for free ad day, then the ladies that need to will adjust their strategies. If this is happening on other boards, it would be nice to make this a standard amongst all local boards, to ease the learning curve for local vs travelling providers.
Thursday, as a suggestion, provides an opportunity to get their names out in front of the weekend, when most guys are free (though I am sure many guys never hobby on weekends). The point is to give the ladies MAXIMUM exposure (an idea in which I am greatly in favor!).
My main point is not the specific day of the week. Hell, maybe free ad day is just for local ladies... I don't know, but the point IS for TER to have a common policy across all boards to avoid confusion for everyone. For that to happen it would be best to look at all ads across all regions and it should be a simple query for the admins to see how many ads are placed on each day of the week.
