Had a visiting girl tell me over half her appts were cancelled as soon as she arrived in town and then received several appt requests during her stay which were then quickly cancelled right before. Many of us know DC has a bad rep for this...question is, why? We've had so many lovely ladies visiting lately and if this keeps happening and word spreads the girls will be hesitant to visit. What is it about DC that this happens so frequently compared to other cities?

.....because so many lovely ladies have been visiting and many, many more will continue too. There won't be a shortage really even with the rep this area has for cancellations. And I think a lot of guys know it.

Jerks schedule with a lady in advance so they have something on the books with her should they be in the mood or their personal schedule allows them to have a little fun.  Then when it does not work out for them because the wifey expects them to take the kids to soccer practice they think nothing of cancelling. Hell , they probably book with several ladies to protect themselves from getting into a no show situation then see their first choice and cancel on the others.

It's difficult to expect those who fail to commit to their marriage to honor their commitment with the "working girls".

There are some who feel they have to "protect" their local favorites from competition.  They make appointments with no intent to keep them.  Goal is to make it unprofitable for vising provides.  Some are pimp/agency guys, others get paid by some DC area escorts via discounts.  You say, "if this keeps happening and word spreads the girls will be hesitant to visit", but that's just what they want to happen.

I've been very fortunate and have met brilliant friends. I screen very heavily though.

Things that make me go hmmmmm. I really don't understand why some people are so cut throat my God! And by the way screening has NOTHING to do with cancellations! Either they are going to see you when they book appointment or they will not. Life happens and because you screen heavy and send emails on Monday morning don't mean they wont cancel. Not sounding mean just my opinion

So cancellations are full proof for KEEPING appointments? I had a friend that was in another major city and she screens very very heavy. She was booked for her whole trip. And guess what? Most of her appointments were cancelled as soon as she arrived. So there IS some sort of corruption everywhere. It is just pathetic! But again screening DOES NOT SECURE DATES....

Not mad with D.C., this happens everywhere and this NEVER happened to me. But I do run my business well I might add. But I don't think you really "understood" my post. I wasn't talking about D.C. OR myself.
