I love it when a provider contacts me

Related to some other recent posts, but switched around a bit...

Any thoughts on a provider you have seen either, calling, texting or emailing you to see if you wish to hook up?

I recently saw a provider a short while back and she recently texted me her new number. Seems kinda unprofessional to me (though we had a rocking time), but it was also in the context of providing a new number... and a "solicitation"...

It seems this breaks one of the cardinal rules of the hobby, unless it has been cleared a-priori.

Ladies, do you ever do it, and if so, why?
Gents, your thoughts?

I only contact prior clients when I have been given permission to do so. Such as, when I will be back in town on tour. Inevitably they will also tell me their prefered method of contact. Never will a client recieve a random text, call, email etc without prior consent. If I have new information to update clients, I generally will post on TER or my website.

If I change any of my information, it can be found on my website or TER.  Even my regulars refer back to TER or my website for my phone number because they don't save it for safety reasons.

Texting a client out of the blue is a very poor choice.  It can put him in a bad position.  For all she knew, you could have been out to lunch with your wife!  Not cool.

I must admit, when I first started doing this, I would email some of my clients with updated information.  I don't do that any longer, but felt it was discreet and acceptable at the time.

If she is a newbie, it may have been innocent on her part.  I would let her know that you prefer she not do it again.  Politely of course.  It will be a good lesson for her.

I use different contact information when I'm hobbying. Sometimes it's actually kind of fun to hear from someone... makes me think - Hmmm...  But I get that it's tough when you don't establish the alternate info, carry a separate cell, etc.

I think it one of our duties as providers not to contact you in any way after we meet you. We do not know what your situation is, who has your phone, or anything else. You are paying us not to blow your cover or bother you later right?

More importantly, we are suppose to be fantasy women that do not have time to give you a second thougt after we see you. We never need anything and we are always busy. It is the role we play. Too bad most girls don't know how to act. It makes us all look bad.

.....e-mail is fine.

On one occasion, I had a provider call me a few days after we met.  My SO picked up the phone and handed it to me (no, I don't have a "hobby" phone).  Fortunately for me, I hae a fairly active business phone and I let it go to voicemail with no further repercussions.

BUT, if I hadn't been in the same room, my SO would likely have answered it for me......

I get several emails a month, which is manageable, from several traveling ladies I have seen. They asked me in advance if it was ok, or I signed up to get there newsletter. One lady down in Pensacola, Fla (Ann) sends out a beautiful new sexy picture or herself during the holidays or once every 3 months. A short message is inside that says "look what you have been missing". All the email address's are Blind CC, so that no one else can see everybody elses email address's.  I have gotten an occassional PM on TER from ladies I have seen, which is also nice to hear from them. Four times I have gotten unsolicited PM's from visiting Ladies. I took one of them up on her offer for pre-booking (that included a discount from her very, very high rate, almost double the DC rate).

I have had to tell a few to stop calling the cell phone, sometimes I work at home with the wife in the next room.

Sometimes I get pm's, im's, and/or emails don't mind because they are coming to hobby accounts.

You are not a client.  You post on these boards as a provider so their is no secret as to your participation in the hobby.  Most all cleints want their participation in the hobby to be secret, hence the TER handles vs real names.  I would hope that before any provider contacts a client out of the blue that they take a minute to consider who has access to the phone or e-mail that they are contacting.  Many clients are in relationships and a wife/girlfriend may be present when the contact is made or may have access to the device being contacted.

I have had un-solicited contacts by providers in the past but on those rare occasions I had known the provider well and had let them know that the e-mail or number was for my eyes only.

If she's giving a new number, I really don't have a problem with that. As long  as she's not constantly texting me.

I had one occassion when I had trouble meeting with a visiting provider, and I asked her to call me when she is back in town.  It worked out well.  I was surprised how much of a turn on it was to get the call (although it was a solicited call).  Have to be careful about it, though. I need to make sure the significant other does not have access to the phone!

I changed my C# unexpectedly...due to A Louisville, K-Y escort arrested in Chicago.

We formerly traveled together mainly in Chicago. After her arrest, Chicago LE called me weekly even when I was home in Louisville trying to set me up.

The clients I texted were frequent clients and that is the ONLY means in which they communicated with me. Just wanted to give them my new c#.

I agree with Morgan 100% you never know what we are doing or who has our phone at the time might be sitting on the nifhtstand and the SO picks it up while I'm busy.

kinda like a old friend reaching out to say hello.  If I haven't seen her in a while it brings back some memories and might cause me to schedule a return engagement.
