So I am in a business meeting last week, when my cell phone rings. I answer and this girl asks me how i am doing and if I am interested in meeting up with her. She says her friend gave her my phone number and thought I would be interested. She is an Indy from Tyson's. She then said she would send me pics.  I got the hot pics and the we exchanged a few emails after my meeting, because I was very concerned that someone gave out my number. All she said is that is was a person she met in the adult entertainment field. She said i shouldn't be concerned and that she wasn't LE. She is on TER and has some mixed reviews. Why would anyone on TER with good reviews call someone for business? Why would any provider call someone? It has never happend to me. Did anyone else get a similar call??

I wonder why she didn't email you for her initial contact?

Can you establish her legitimacy as a provider?

She looks like she is legit. She accidently called me over the weekend asking if I was on my way. After I told her that she called the wrong person, she apologized. She will not tell me who it is. She made it seem like it wasn't a good friend or anything and forgot the person's name, which I think is total bull.

first rule of hobby.. DO NOT GIVE ANYTHING REAL TO A PROVIDER (well other than real money)..

if you have given your real number then you are stupid that is all..

is it LE? .. dont think so.. they don't need to come and get you like that.. it might be someone BF or SO who is going to want to kick your behind when you show up..  OR it could be your SO trying to set you up.. or even worse.. your SO got a PI and PI is collecting info for your SO so that she can take you to court and clean you up .. either way.. none is good .. and it started by you giving your real info out..

I always give providers my work cell number. My SO would never do such a thing. I don't think anyone is trying to set me up. Like I said, it looks legit. I am just curious if anyone else got the same call.

just a noobs 2 cents.  Why would any provider provide a clients # to any one? Unless youve asked a provider to send certain providers of interest to you i think lines have been crossed and bells and whistles should be going off.  Ive learned from the seasoned vets on this forum that what happened to you is not normal. Time to ditch that # and get a burner.

I agree! I wish I could get someone to call this provider and do some digging and find out who is giving out phone numbers.

Some provider offered me a discount if I wrote her a review. Not sure how she got my hobby e-mail address; presumably from another provider I had seen before. No one has ever called me though.

Why are you using your work cell for hobby? It's grounds for termination if your employer finds out you use work computer or cell for this purpose. Get a hobby phone ASAP.

After I see some girls, they want to see the old MAC daddy again. I tell them, I ain't got enough energy.

Honesty, there are several providers that text me on very frequent occasions. I don't never respond because I just don't have the time, and yet they still text the old MAC daddy for an encounter. They must want that 3.5 inch I have, otherwise, I see no purpose of seeing me.

I am not one to usually post, but there are times many of us overanalyze things.

First off,  I agree with the statements made about the use of your work/home phone #.

Second, these ladies are in business to make money.  It may be nothing more than a simple, safe referral from one lady to another, who maybe is just looking for a  meeting with a guy who is safe, trustworthy, and secure.

I once was trying to see a well reviewed provider.  We had emailed back and for a few times and things just hadn't lined up.  After  a month or so, she started emailing me trying to get me to see her.  Not just once, but a number of times.  Made me feel uneasy, so I cut bait and ran.  Maybe there was nothing to it, but I can look back now and say I never had any problems from the situation because I played it safe.  Who knows the result had I not.

Anyways, my advise is if you have any doubt at all, move on and do the thing you know will keep you safe 10 times out of 10.

fuck that man.  Tell work you lost the phone or something, just get rid of it.  Totally bad news.  And the SO would never do such a thing? Sorry to say and not to get moral but i think its naive to even think an SO would not try to see what you do when she s mot around.  Lets be cautious, unless your SO is cool as shit and loves your hobbies i would practice more caution.  Others have mentioned the risks of using a work based phone, again thats for your protection.  Why does one use a burner? Anonymity.  I think thats a good thing in most our cases.  Not trying to be paranoid but sensible.  Having a burner allows one control of who, when and how another person may reach you.  When i m not playing my shit sits in my trunk! When i said "if it looks like shit and smells like shit its probably a cupcake" i meant that one should be alert to know what is what.  A provider whom you do not know calls your work phone and cannot tell you where your number was sourced from? Hmm suspect to me.

On Wed of this week I received an unsolicited email from "Just Me" with an email pre-fix of "dirtynnova.". The person repeatedly claimed to have met me (which never happened) and went on and on in ways that a traditional provider would never do, eg asking how she should "groom."  She said she wanted to meet at a Panera in Tysons and then go to her nearby hotel.  Never experienced anything like it.   The whole thing was fishy and I never had any intention of meeting this person.  Candidly, I was trying to figure out if it was LE who could have obtained the address from a certain agency (where inquiries were previously mad).  The emails stopped and started each day at times consistent with someone on a government clock.  My email is standard fare for hobby and used to not only make appts,  but make inquiries, which could explain how the sender got it.  Probably nothing but extremely odd.

Use your brain, man. You should have a hobby phone that you only leave on when you are ready for business. Don`t fall for this obvious trap.
