In no particular order (I've no shortage of restaurant recommendations!)

Whaley's- has a new Rosé garden and is situated nicely at yards Park overlooking the Anacostia River

Minibar/Barmini- cute, Instagram worthy drinks. Hard to get a reservation to eat here but it is WELL worth it. A great experience to have

Daikaya/Izakaya- some of the best Japanese in the city!

Momiji- this is my little secret place that I love. Also Japanese food. Very low key

Barcelona Wine Bar- one of my favorite places to eat when the weather is nice. It's located on the 14th street corridor and very lively

Iron Gate- the chef here is a friend of mine and has a fantastic operation. Great food and interesting cocktails

Fiola and/or Fiola Mare - lovely Italian places that are always top rated, with impeccable service

Metiér- if you like French, you'll love Metiér. And the caviar is so lovely!

Mastros- it's a lively steakhouse and the mood lighting is great for dates

If you're solo I love to grab tacos at Oyamel or eat at MXDC, both of which are super electric during happy hour.

Hey Everyone,

If you know me, you know I love a good dining experience (I'm not a foodie, more of a food groupie, hehe). From Michelin star hot spots to charming hole in the walls, I would love to hear about your absolute favourites in the city. Please and Thank You in advance :)    xo.

You can find pretty much any kind of food around here and at all sorts of price ranges.  Post your favorites and for sure someone will have a recommendation. There are really good options for almost all types of cuisine.

Oh, and the general area youre in would be helpful too as getting from around here can make the anticipation of eating secondary to the thought "Why am I doing this again?" if you get caught up in traffic at the wrong time of day.

At any rate best wishes and good luck to you and welcome to DC Celinaxo!

And appreciated the culinary opportunities which I attributed to the international diversity of the region .
But if you are indeed a foodie I invite you to visit Raleigh NC.  Seriously this area , especially downtown Raleigh is an amazing foodie paradise . And one of the best places in America for craft beers .

So come on down for some great eats and , of course , some southern hospitality .

( I do admit I miss the deviled eggs at Jacksons in Reston )
