I wanted to go to Miami being that I have only been to Florida once in my life time  
But my mind races when I think about the choices I want to go to

Where to go...Miami is a great choice for beautiful beaches, good food, and party atmosphere.  Everyone will think you are a model visiting from NYC.

Other options to consider...Aruba (maybe too laid back for you but very relaxing), Puerto Rico, Jamaica.

Wherever you go, have a blast!!!  I'll have a present for you when you return.

You could try Jamaica as a humble recommendation. Miami is a great place too as you mentioned.
