I am going to start doing the whole hotel thing as well....are there hotels that are not friendly as far as "providers" go? Is that something I should watch out for? Do they keep a look out for such things? What are the keys to being unnoticible in a hotel?
I have heard from several sources that the Marriott Corporation has a incentives policy encouraging its staff to report and turn in any suspicions of providing. Several providers and hobbyists have told me that they steer clear of the Marriott Hotels and properties.
I have seen a couple of providers in Marriott Hotels and did not seem any different than any other hotel. I believe it has something to do with the provider and the customer. If the provider is loud and notice able drawing attention and customer comes in acting like they don't know what is going on instead of acting like they are staying at the hotel then you should have a problem. I also go during the day when cleaning crew and people are checking out.
I too have seen a few providers at Marriotts. Only problem was Jenna at the Inner Harbor Marriott in Baltimore. They were banging on the door 2 or 3 times while we were together. Supposedly had something to do with a mix up concerning when she was going to check out. That might have been a cover. Regardless, it didn't exactly help the "flow of things".
