Has anyone run into the "companion" fraudsters in the DC area? The scam of posing as a provider and then switching to only offering "companionship" after they've picked up the "roses"? It's quite a shrewd hustle. Just seeing if anyone else has had any experiences...what happened? what did you do?

It has been awhile since anyone HERe has posted about getting scammed. Never happened to me. Go buy The VIP and read reviews before you book any girls again.  Sorry if u got ripped off. Be thankful u didn't get physically robbed by some pimp

One of my first experiences in the hobby was with one of these crooks. It was a long time ago but Im sure it still goes on.

I was so naive then I spent a week trying to get my money back refsuing to believe I got scammed. Im sure the pimp/agency/manager was quite amused by my persistence, but in the end I gave up (which im sure everyone does)

They are obviously making a lot of money doing this.  If you read this TER post, you'll see that they have a large ring with at least 8 different people/numbers operating simultaneously in the DC area.  They know that people don't want to go to law enforcement.  But perhaps someone could approach the main place that they advertise (Eros DC) and have them stop carrying their ads.  Eros is effectively being paid a percentage to allow this organized crime ring to operate.

Treated me to a perfectly pleasant, albeit brief conversation about 14 or 15 months ago  To their credit, they WERE all just as young and pretty as their pictures.....

I remain indebted to the provider who turned me on to TER and who just sat me the hell down and taught me the ropes of hobby.  The education more than offset the limited menu that day.

I had a similar experience a long time back, maybe 20 years ago, when I was just starting in the hobby. This was pre-TER, and I found her from a City Paper classified ad (back when the Earth's crust was still cooling ...). The provider only did private viewings/hand jobs, but she explained that what I was trying to get from her was referred to as "full service," and that I should ask for that in the future. She was nice and pleasant, but I never did get between her legs. I have had disappointments since, but never a problem with a provider not being willing to do what I wanted.

at least make her stay the full hour; and if you take her to a movie, go to a theatre far out in the 'burbs
- Manassas, Fredericksburg, then take a break mid-movie to go to the bathroom, but leave and leave her behind - at least you get to enjoy the thought of her trying to get home form manassas, or of her co-conspirators having to drive all the way out to Manassas to bring her back.

I first heard about this group while meeting one of my clients in dc.
He was thanking me for being honest and polite, then he elaborated on why and i was shocked girls get away with that!

I was lucky, this happened exactly one time to me. The woman's called herself "Bonnie", some of you may remember her. The team worked out of an apartment in the Falls Church area.

I got a similar "I never do that..." response. And like another poster here I wasnt about to go out anywhere, although I had the distinct impression that might have been possible. So I sat there for the entire hour talking about anything and everything. When she spoke I literally completely tuned out. The gums were flapping but nothing was entering my head. Nothing. She offered me another Cola, I ended up drinking three during that hour. I figured they owed it to me.

I have heard from what I think is a reliable source, although I don't know it to be true, that at least this particular ring is run by Brazilians. Apparently some of the more informed providers in the area know of them.
