Hi all-

I'm new to TER and am having a hard time figuring out where to start.  It seems all the ladies I think are super hot turn out to have fake pictures, and the ladies with great reviews don't have links to pictures!  Can anyone recommend a hot, fun, blonde in the DC area?

For what its worth, one thing that I've picked up so far is - avoid BP. That seems to be where people run into a lot of problems with fake pics.

Welcome to the hobby.

I've only entered into the hobby recently, but a few hints from someone making a similar journey.

Go over to the self help center and do some homework.  The more experienced hobbyists and providers have very kindly left you a wealth of information there.

Take a look at the Newbies board.  The only dumb question is the one you don't ask.  You can also search any of the boards for specific terms, so that you don't ask a question covered ad nauseum a couple days before.

Lounge around the different regional and general interest boards and soak up the nuances of the hobbying world.

TER provider search is your friend.  My personal standard is to see someone with no less than 8 reviews until I become much more experienced in the hobby.  Read the reviews, go to their websites, google reverse image check photos, and google phone numbers and email addresses.  Learn as much as you can for both safety and compatibility reasons.  Check the number of reviews that reviewers have done when you read their reviews and see who they have visited.

I also look at the TER profiles of some of the frequent provider posters.

Get verified on Preferred411 and Date Check and stick with some of the newbie friendly providers.

And always be discreet, respectful and be a gentleman.  There are some some really great people out here and I only know a small portion of that from my short time in the hobby.

Just like the subject says research is key. Backpage can be fun to look at but I don't use it as a tool when I am searching for company. It seems that most LE activity happens there and that the ladies there are more interested in $$ then screening.  

Proper screening doesn't always make you safe. Researching who you would like to see and also who has seen them is just the responsible thing to do for your safety. How safe is a Lady with 50 reviews if the Reviewers each only posted 1 review?

I would recommend reading the board here. Yoko's link is a must. VIP membership and knowing how to do a proper search is worth it's weight in gold.

There are several other websites you should have a presence on and if you have gone to any of the ladies private websites you will see them mentioned in their screening. Get a membership.

Some people will direct you to agencies but with the recent history with agencies in the area I would avoid them. There are well known and established Providers who will see you as a Noob if you are a member of the right website and/or go through some additional screening. It may make things difficult at first. Remember the lady is concerned for her safety and any lady that isn't I wouldn't recommend seeing!
