I assume most ads on eros are fake. Especially the "too good to be true" ones.

Just a warning that I'm pretty sure this ad is fake.
I was supposed to see her today, but when the time came to confirm nothing. No answer to my text.
Eros is full of fake ads.

But what's the point of a fake ad? Most want to at least scam someone out of a few dollars with a deposit. Maybe just a flake, rather than fake.

Agreed.  I don't see the purpose of a fake ad, when they ghost you.  Don't they pay eros to advertise?

Maybe it's all about phishing for phone numbers? But that seems like a really hard way to get much compared to plenty of other phishing or con approaches.
